I seem to remember it being confirmed that BF4 on PS4 was to be higher than 720p, but not 1080p.

It is kind of disappointing that this early in the generation that games already aren't able to be played in 1080p. I know this doesnt mean all games will be sub-1080p. But it says something about the years to come.

If a game developed for PC systems right now, can't be run in 1080p on new consoles... what about the games developed in 4 years? The devs will be pushing more and more detail, which will require further concessions to be made to the console versions.

Calling it now.... PS4 & XB1 to be running most games at 720p at approx. 30 fps.

Still super amped about getting my PS4 though.

according to IGN it was 60FPS at higher than 720 but lower than 1080, but the final resolution hasn't been confirmed

Didn't Sony say they have a good relationship with EA? Apparently not or EA were hard pushed to bring out a playable demo.

From what Ive read "Lars in an interview... BF4 on PS4 runs at 720p upscaled to 1080p and solid 60 fps."
