Battlefield: Hardline Gamespot Review 7/10

It seems like a good shooter for folks who play a lot of games and want another shooter. I ultimately didn't download the beta, so I can't speak any farther than that.

Even Blab.

Rather have BFBC2.

This sht looks boring as hell from the streams I've been watching the past few days. I'll stick to helldivers.

Looks like an expansion pack to BF4, but with terrible visuals.

Not really interested after playing the last game.

Seems to be the consensus on the web, especially among those who haven't played the game. I can't pass any judgement until I play the game myself. From the screens I have seen the console versions don't look that great. The Xbox One version more so than the PS4. I will try to spend a couple of hours with the game tonight. I liked the Beta so maybe I will be more likely to enjoy it than most of the posters here who didn't like it.

we must learn to separate SP from MP, i think SP might be 5/10 or 6/10, doesnt matter, i aint gonna touch it, but the MP on the beta was like 9/10, still dont know of any recent MP game more fun to play

Wait........are you serious? You know there is a 3 point scale here. 10=great, 9=good, 8=average anything lower is shit.

So, BF 3.75 came out...sick. Got an ok score too.

I'm glad my personal enjoyment doesn't hinge on that bullshit scale you use. And the opposite of good is bad in reality. mediocre is the same as average.

I was being sarcastic of course. I use the entire 10 point scale personally.

Wasn't interested in this at all, but after watching the review it looks pretty fun.

From all of my friends who played 1000+ hours of BF4, a bunch of them were looking forward to Hardline after the second round of beta after the delay. They said it's basically BF4 with a lower time-to-kill (TTK) and a focus on infantry. It's not exciting or new, but it's refreshing in its own way and differs from BF4 in many ways. It's also 9-10 new maps, new weapons, and new game modes.

I'm personally not interested because I am still enjoying BF4. I think the communities will split but BF4 won't die. I think the people who prefer more infantry focus and lower TTK gameplay are going to migrate to Hardline leaving more vehicle focused/classic Battlefield fans will stick with BF4.

No one asked for a Cops and Robbers battlefield game. We want Bad Company 3. Better yet, how about a Battlefield game that fucking works properly?
