if you honestly believe that there's 100 million more consumers still playing the PS2, you are sorely off. I myself went through 3 PS2's (all purchased new cause Sony wouldn't fix their faulty crap) before I learned not to buy another one. Those 3 sales got added into their calculations and I know for a FACT that I'm not the only one who got screwed over by Sony with faulty PS2's. Take into consideration the multitudes of parents that bought their kids multiple PS2's as well because their kids were wreakless and irresponsible. That number that Sony brags about is probably 20-30 million (most likely higher) less then that.

i think they all r this time xbox =360 PS2=PS3 o i have i wii but i like my gamecube a lot more . i just use the wii 2 git all the old games on it. every thing on the 360 and ps3 and the wii i have not been omg i what it other than TES4 . but mgs4 and ff13 do look good and mass effect . i like last gen a lot more.

Halo 3 runs at 30 fps and has no framerate issues. Motorstorm runs at 30 fps an is a chopfest. So I guess with Madden 08, the 30fps was the devs fault as well? Who's fault was it for Lair since Sony's hardware is obviously not to blame? :shock:

only thing I blame sony for is the price they put on the console $500-$600 for a console is way to much for an avg gamer to even think about buying since most current gen games go for $60 ish a pop.You cant have expensive games and a expensive console and expect to gain alot of money.Now one thing you can never blame sony is the lack of video games which is the video game devs and publishers faults.

PS1 and PS2 will be brought up so ill bring it up for you. Yes the PS2 was and still is a great console, however this is NOT the last gen, but the current one.

The arguement that 100 million gamers are waiting for a price drop to purchase a PS3 will be brought up and I will say I was one of those 100 million, the price has no bearing on me. It could be $800 and if it was worth it, I would purchase it. But thats not the case.

So with that said, MGS4, FFXII, Lair, HS, Rfom, Warhawk and Motostorm have always been used in the "ju ju just wait till {insert one of those games} is released. Rfom and Motorstorm were the first flops (by GS standards/hype). Motorstorm being the worse. *NOT SAYING THESE GAMES ARE NOT GOOD!*

Then there is Lair and Warhawk. Lair, goes w/o saying so I wont even go into that. But, it was hyped to godly levels. Warhawk is a multiplayer game only. The game is pretty much neutered when the fact arrises that a large contingent of users are having problems with the login servers and the stats servers are not updating. While the game is actually pretty good, the servers are jacked up. Sorta like peanut butter with no jelly.

Whats left is MGS4, and FFXII. Some will say Ratchet and Clank, others GT5. I await the honest debate and look forward to entertaining the fanboys.... :shock:

Yea you cant really bash a game if you have not played it. I recently played Bioshock because people were all like "this game is the bomb"... so i gave it a try... the graphics were the only best thing in the game... Bioshockis....an "alright game". I've heard a lot of bad reviews about Liar but im gonna still play it.. I might end up hating it or enjoying it. We will only find out once i get my hands on it.

You want me to be honest, so I will. I'm so glad I sold my 360, I've never looked back. IMO the PS3 is the better console. I tried and tried to like my 360. I finally gave up and sold it for a PS3 and it was the best decision I could have made. Warhawk alone is better than any 360 game I've ever played. XBOX Live is not worth the money. It's also becoming more and more noticable with time that Blue-Ray is needed for games. I never understood why we would need Blue-Ray right now, but with Killzone being 2GB per level, now I understand games like that cannot be done on a DVD per 360. As time goes on the memory that BD can hold will become more and more useful, and the 360 will be left in the past with DVD memory space.newimagejkep

What part of the original post did you miss where I said Warhawk looks like a great game? I HAVE played Motorstorm. I HAVE played Rfom. Motorstorm no matter which way you chalk it up has framerate issues, period. Rfom is a solid all around good shooter. You understanding yet? :shock:
