Before you try to end the system war, end the war within yourself.

I get asked a lot who I think I am bashing the PS3 and Wii on system wars. People will cry out that I'm just some fanboy that plays nothing but 360, but that's not true at all. I own a PS3. I own a 360. I play Wii consistantly at my buddy's place across the street. I play all the next-gen systems, so my opinion is justified.

I favor the 360 cause I've played all three now for a while, and the 360 just has the best gaming experience. Better games, graphics and overall setup than PS3 and the Wii. That's not to say everything about PS3 and Wii is inferior to 360, just a lot of stuff is right now.

I just get the feeling that a lot of people on this page need to grow up and defend their opinions not based on personal belief or blind loyalty, but on actual experience. It's like 90% of you bash PS3 or 360 or Wii without actually playing the systems. Sure PS3 is expensive, but how do you know it's not worth the price tag without playing it? Of course the Wii is for kids, but how do you know it's not fun without trying it? Sure 360 is rumored to breakdown. But how do you know for sure without actually owning one?

I think some of you need to take a break from this forum. Stop trying to play financial analyst and stop bringing up scores from here on gamespot like it's the word of God. Maybe stop taking the opinion of other people and get one for yourself for a change? If you think the PS3 sucks cause it's a Sony product and therfore you will never play it, then congratulations. You're only denying yourself the opportunity to enjoy something that might be more right for you than that 360 you force yourself to like.

Seriously, stop trying to end the system wars with other people's opinion and go get one for yourself. Try them all out, give em' all a shot and then claim which is the best. Then, you'll be able to defend yourself without having to say something like "GBA outsold the PS3 har har"

Honestly, the way some people talk about stuff on here, it's like this is life for them and if the system they own isn't seen as the best, then they can't and will not rest until they do everything possible to try and throw dirt on the other systems. I think the guy "InfamousC" is the perfect example in regards to the PS3. He'll post like 5-10 topics out of now where in the span of a couple hours finding every possible article to bash 360 and promote PS3.

That is not the problem, the problem is people on SW don't realize that the kind of enjoyment one gets from experience with a 360, Wii or PS3 is SUBJECTIVE.  Everyone in the world can play the same systems and the same games and have many different opinions on which one they prefer.  This is a key factor people dont realize when they egotistically voice their OPINION about another console and justify their opinion with the fact they have played it.  If people would stop bashing and realize preferences are opinions SW would be better.  Having people play the competition isnt gonna change their mentality if they are biased or a fanboy, but getting them to shut up about their opinion of how the other console is better is a much better solution.  Maybe not realistic but better.

I'll say one thing...the portions of disscussion of why people bash PS3 (not worth price), wii (only for kids) are both a matter of personal taste and opinion...The part about xbox360 on the other hand (braking donwn) that's no debatable at all, it's a well documented FACT.

I just don't trust the rate of it breaking down though. People say it's a high percentage, but mine's fine, my buddy who's had it since launch has his working perfectly, and I don't hear a ton about it from anyone else I know who owns the 360. But w/e. You still can't truly know for sure without getting one for yourself eh ;)

Good post and i agree with all of it exept for one thing. This line :

"off course the wii is for kids" : Bold statament. Most wii owners i know are in their 30's.

 I got a 2nd shipment launch 360 and it's still running strong.  And no one I know has an issue either.  Only one's I've seen or heard of broken have been due to blatant negligence.
