Pffft. Whatever you say, guys.:lol: Typical responses. I do not expect it to sell no where near as well as Gears, but if you honestly think that those graphics, in those particular screens do not look better than Gears of War, then you seriously need to take those fanboy goggles off.

Go ahead and live in the past....remain stagnant, and convinced within the linear realm of your own mind that "Gears cannot be beaten", while some of us move ahead with the times, and play games that will walk all over Gears graphically. Every game will get surpassed, especially ones that are released early in whatever generation that they are released in....like Gears. Some people are just such fanboys though, that they cannot see through to the next day, let alone what potential lies in the future.

Regardless, in my view, Gears is going to be old news....soon. And anyway, to each their own, right?:P

Normally thats true, but thanks too Vista not being too gaming freindly yet, Shadow Run looks better on the 360, hope it doesnt start a trend ;) 

Just reminds me of Quake 4 tbh, nothing special.

Unreal Tournement 3 will match Gears, Crysis will surpass it, this doesnt.

Graphically, Gears of War looks better than all but the last shot.  and we'd have to see it in motion to really get a sense of is graphical prowess.

What exactly are you compairing it to in Gears? 

I suppose that it is going to all come down to opinion anyway, but based on what I have seen, this game looks much better than the over bloomed, shiny plastic enviroment of Gears of War. One of these days some of you guys are going to get sick of that Unreal 3 engine look, as all the games that use it are starting to look THE SAME.

Jericho had a custom, brand new engine that was built from the ground up for it, and Codemasters are pretty darn good devs, so I am betting this game will turn out to be brilliant. I want games to have their own unique look and feel to them, and I think, based on what I have seen and read about this game, that it will deliver in spades.

To the individual that commented on how bad Clive Barker's writing was....:lol:. I think that his credentials, not just in horror, but in general speak volumes above that of Cliffy B at Epic, lol. He is only the creator of true classic horror stories, such as HELLRAISER, among many others. With that you can gather that the story alone in this game is destined to make a 7-8 hour fragfest against aliens that crawled out of the earth look pale by comparison.

But again, to each their own, but in my humble opinion, and just based on what I have seen, I think that Jericho is going to smoke Gears graphically with it's art style, and custom new graphics engine. And as for the game itself....well I am sure that it will probably not even be on the radar of most Gears of War heads, let alone sell as many copies. But I personally think that it will end up being a MUCH DEEPER, MUCH LONGER, and much richer game than Gears in terms of at least the SINGLE PLAYER experience.....which is why I am hyped for it.

Anyway, it is multi-plat all the way around except for the Wii of course. PS3, 360 and PC players will get to enjoy this one, and I for one cannot wait for it.

I'm looking forward to the game as I am a clive fan, however, it is way to soon to be comparing a game in development and one that is already out on the market. Until you play it and have player gears, you will have to wait to decide what is better.

This goes for all games in development vs already released games.

Yes, all but maybe 1 of the screens I posted are supposed to be. They built a brand new CUSTOM engine specifically for this game. Again, JUST BASED ON WHAT I AM SEEING, NOT SAYING IT IS A FACT, I personally think that it blows the over bloomed, plastic looking Gears on the Unreal 3 Engine away.

I NEVER said that I hated the way Gears looks. I think that it looks great, other than a bit too much bloom in certain areas of the game, and the overall plastic look of some of the environment. I just think that this game looks better, based on what I have seen of it. Jesus.
