While that is a crappy game, you can't blame the ps3 for the software that it runs.  that's more a problem with the developers than a real representation of what it can handle.

I remember when 99 Nights was hyped too...back in the days before the 360 launch, before everyone got to see how crappy it was. This on the other hand, might not have the best graphics, but it sure does look fun if you watch the videos of it.

Don't get me wrong, the game doesn't look visually stunning, but it reminds me of a upgraded version of Crackdown, minus the lame cell-shaded graphics.

*edit* and need I mention the framerate is INCREDIBLY solid for soo many guys and soo much going on?

The game looks INSANELY fun. It's like Crackdown mixed with Socom and it looks incredible. I was originally going to pass on this game because I thought it was plane fighting only (something I'm not really interested in) but that gameplay video really changed my mind. If this game gets decent reviews, I'm buying a PS3 June 1st.

Silvereign, you've obviously never played Crackdown. Using it to claim "ownage" over the obvious downgrade of Warhawk is almost as retarded as the people who hyped Warhawk in the first place.

There's a reason it became a downloable game - it sucked too much to make people pay 60$ for it.

That, and I'm sure that they weren't using enough of the space on the BR disc, there by Sony forcing them to make it a downloadable game. After all, if a game that isn't multiplatform doesn't use at least 16GB of space, it doesn't help Sony's case when they claim that BR is needed for gaming.
