[QUOTE="HAZE-Unit"] I'll go with three games.
Assassins Creed:the simple fact that you are playing as an assassin is so great, let alone the big open livingworld, the NPCs are alot, the atmosphere which make you all the time caution to not get caught, the big twist which make the story more complex and great, the climbing, the travelling from city to city, the music, everything gives you something new you didn't see before, the combat is so amazing and the AI is good also, this game is my GOTY btw.
Gears of war: the moment I turned on the game, I was at shock how the graphics was one of the best, the evolutionary cover system made this game one of the best shooters, the CO-OP campaign make it the perfect combination with the cover system, the intense, first time I met the berserker, made my adrenaline rise, it was one of the greatest games this gen.
Dead Rising:What can I say about this game? you are trapped in a mall, the mall is full of zombies and what make this game better than any other zombie game, the name Capcom is in it, the open environment make it alot of fun to play, the great amount of zombies make you scared, there are also psycho paths who are going to kill you, you have to know whats going on and you have to rescue survivors on the way, I love the last part which is rescuing, there is some injured people, some of them are security, some Japanese and you have to learn Japanese to speak to them, everyone of the NPCs are different and have different reactions when you come to rescue them, this game was freaking great.

i agree with you on assassins creed, but i dont quite understand why so many people hate it
I think gamers are different now, not like the old days, they are so picky with silly stuff, they "see" gameplay videos of a game then say, hey, "the AI "look"dumb", or "this game has alot of jaggies", or "I don't know the gender of the hero, how can I play this game" ( like it is a fact he doesn't know, it is obivious, fanboys).
The second problem is reviews, they take it too serious and judge games they didn't play, only from reviews.
The problem with gamers now, they don't see the game overall, how beautiful is the atmosphere or the gameplay system is being done.
