Worst - Halo 2. (only because of the cliff hanger)

Best - Halo 3. Ends Halo - begins, Marathon(I hope so). Amazing.

i dont know whether im going to get flamed for this or not but, i thought the mass effect ending was a bit..crap.pro-nathan-07

It was unsatisfying to say the least. Probably because when the game ended,I looked back and realized nothing I did actually had any affect on the game. Way to make a "moral choice system". Seriously I love how hyped Mass Effects choice system was,but games like The Witcher and Indingo Prophecy had 10x better choice systems that actually affected the game.

And they didn't need the hype.

How come in the end of Halo 3,when the humans think MC is dead,the only thing they do is scratch 117 into the side of the metal? That's insanity! He saved the goddamn world! He should get a statue! A city named after him! But all he gets is his codename scratched into a piece of metal.

Can someone answer this for me. That's one of the reasons I hated the ending,it was absurd.

Getting him out of retirement for part 4 should be no problem. Its great to see a dev thats not afraid to inject a real story into their platform game. Nintendo could really learn something from them.

Best: God of War-- since it tied up the rest of the story fairly well.

Worst: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver a lousy "to be continued" right after you battle Kain.

WORST - Silent Hill 2 after you beat it 4 times, the ending will be about a Japanese Dog in a control room... WTF?!:|

Worst: Re4 (honestly, I loved the game, but the ending ..could have been so much better)

[spoiler] So you meet up with the old lady and OH WAIT, SHE'S ACTUALLY THE INTERNET!! A yellow, glowing robot person which has been disguised as an old lady throughout the entire game. You see, the internet wants the indigo child, which is a key to the future or some such and must be brought to the Chroma, which is a supernatural force element thing. Opposing the collective artificial intelligence is another clan called the Purple Clan, a shadow government led by a 2000 years old Mayan oracle. Luckily you have the secret resistance movement of hobos called The Invisibles to help you out. You're a dead guy with Matrixy superpowers btw. [/spoiler]

And that's just part of the problems with the ending. It also feels rushed as all hell, the character's actions and emotions make no sense at all. A worse ending does not exist, and that's a fact.

MGS1 idk if you would call Liquid's story the ending to that game but it was the final bit of information so thats what im calling it

as far as the worst goes im not really sure maybe Kingdom Hearts 1 when Mickey shows up out of nowhere and saves the day like the glory hog he is
