okay, great.. in that case, choose psp.... but maybe it doesn't offer all the cell phone requirements... so get a iphone.
The correct answer is none. No games are worth 30 dollars on handhelds either.wmc540
id have to agree with the "no handheld game is worth $30" part, excluding the gow of course, bc i often go to a gaming store and look at the DS titles and just cant bring myself to by any of the games for the prices they are asking

For a cheap set fee, you can get a static mobile phone number for your skype PSP :P
Thanks for responses. DS/PSPs are not a cell phones, they're handheld gaming consoles. What I'm looking for is a regular(ish) cell phone, with a descent and comfortable controls, and hardware powerfull enough to run games. The Nokia N81-8GB looks pretty nice. What do you think? kishkiai
I worked in a phone shop for over a year. Don't get a Nokia, get a Sony Ericsson.... Trust me. And whatever you do, DO NOT GET A SAMSUNG!
Combining cell phones with gaming really isn't such a good match since most phones tend to be very compact making controls an issue. Also their hardware and software really dont support games quite well. I would still suggest sticking to handhelds for the better experience.
However, if you absolutely must have a cell phone that has some functionality for games, get either an Iphone or get a Nokia N95 8gb. The nokia doubles up as a GPS system, 5 MP camera, smart phone functionalities, touch screen, and other nifty addons but it will definately put a hole in your pocket. A big hole. If you live in the U.S be prepared to pay a good $700+ to ship one from Europe.
Also, as the post above states, the Sony Ericson Walkman does quite well since it is supported by Sony. You can also flip the screens for a sort of landscapish view with somewhat functional controls.

Oh God.......... You're one of them...........
First off, it's not as easy to install java games via usb to them
Secondly, the predictive text function is not context based
Thirdly, they use microSD cards or transflash ones, the most expensive out of all the cards
Fourthly, they are prone to crashes
Fifthly, the screens are always made from cheaper construction
Sixthly, lack of good extra functions
Basically, Samsung phones are generally good for people who have phones, want them to look pretty and snappy, but never actually use any extra functions on their phone.
Well.... at least they are better than Motorola phones...............

I've never thought of that possibility. The psp isn't one bit short of a mobile phone.
Could you recommend any of the SE phones? Something from K or T series? W look nice too, but I'm not interested in a music oriented phonekishkiai
Get the latest W series one you can afford. Even if you don't want the walkman functionaility, the firmware included with them is top notch. The K series just has a less snazzier firmware and the battery life on them is usually slightly less.
im happy with bust-a-move on my sidekick :Di_Pwn_TheVuhJay
lol amen man, the simple puzzle games that you play on every phone out there are the best.
