The PS2 has God of War I and II, Devil May Cry I and III, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank series, Soul Calibur III, Tekken 4 and 5, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, the Onimusha series, Guilty Gear XX, Final Fantasy X and XII, you get the picture.

I have been reading that as well. Wasn't it said before that it would not be possible to be done through a firmware update?

Yes things are looking bright indeed for the PS3.

SNES followed closely by Ps2. Super Mario RPG is one of my all time favorites. Its kinda sad that I've just took out my old snes for some old school fun and it doesnt function anymore =( .. thinkin' of playing mydusted virtual boy...not...

PS2 was the worst console of that gen imo, the difference is in its library... if this poll is based on library too then PS2 should be close but overall id still go for SNES or Dreamcast before it, maybe N64 too...

it is far to hard to point out one console over the years, if anything I'd say NES since there would be no consoles today if it didnt exist.

The PlayStation 2.

I loved the sega dreamcast. I just think it had like awesome features, first with online standard, so far ahead of the other systems that were out at the time, the vmu rocked lol The conrtoller was perfect BEST LAUNCH EVER no system had such a sweet launch list, this gen, every single launch list sucked , like no good games came out for any of the new systems until like, a year after they came out, it was absolute torture, i think it had the strongest first 2 and a half years out of any system (even though that was his entire life span) While i know that the ps2 has way more games than probably any other system ever, its just, i feel it has no soul lol, i cant explain it, dreamcast to me oozes with emotion, while the ps2 is just a heartless bastard lol

Definitely the Playstation 2. The endless flow of quality games can't be topped. The GTA series, Ratchet & Clank series, Jack & Daxter series, Smackdown series and the Kingdom Hearts series on one console = win.
