Those are all good, but I will go with the first one, since it got the series started.The Genesis was my least favorite version, and the PS2 ones were made by the SNES guys, which made them auto-awesome.
Maybe cause it brings back so many swt memories but i prefare the first 2 games in the series... cannot forget the many times i played those 2 games with my friends back when i was a small kid :)
Contra 3, because it was at least a little more realistic in difficulty then the first, and just looked and played better overall.
OOPS.I meant contra 3 from snes is the best.you forgot about the 3D contra game from playstation 1# lol.
I grew up playing original contra on nes i loved that also, contra 3 had cooler looking levels though reason i liked it more i guess.i never played contra 2, i thought contra 3 on snes was contra2/super contra but it's not.
Contra 3 on the snes was so kick ass. The original 2 contra games will always have a special place im my heart.
