well....it depends on what kind of "gamer" you are...of course. alot here have mentioned some of the greats(esp shenmue...so underated). Ill give you one that "to me" is the "beyond good and evil" of the dreamcast(a great game that nobody noticed) the game i have in mind was an incredible game if you appreciate something different and at the time...VERY innovative. it was the first game....ever i think...to incorporate EVERY and i mean EVERY style of gaming into ONE game. it had FPS, RPG, narrative story, branching story arcs, multiple choice response in conversation, FIGHTING(example:MK or tekken), open ended sand box style adventuring, third person view, awesome soundtrack by David Bowie(he was even IN the game as a main character and also appeared in bonus concerts when you found the hidden concert flyers), music collecting, and the coolest....when you died...you didnt die, you just took over someones body and kept going. you could even do this at will at some point, and when you took over someones body, you could go to thier apartment and take all thier things.

       the game is OMIKRON: the nomad soul. and for the record..OMIKRON 2 is coming to 360...YAAAAH

        anywayz...sorry for the long narrative :P  it really is a cool game. and another is ECCO THE DOLPHIN for dreamcast....simply BEAUTIFULL!!!!!

Since when did imbalance become an issue of a good fighting game? Yes, Capcom series are not perfect, but name me a fighter that is? That why they're tier list for every fighting game. Was it you that said you a huge fan of SNK games? You trying to spark the SNK > Capcom debate?shungokustasu

only games i played were crazy taxi and sonic adventure... i think. i can't remember any others.

though apparently my mate's giving me his for free(!) so i've been eyeing up a load of DC games... still cant find Rez anywhere though :(

Dreamcast really didn't have that large of a library of good games really, that other consoles didn't have. However, Dreamcast had a high percentage of original and quirky games compared to other consoles. And the games that were good, were amazing.

So these threads get made at least twice a month and people end up repeating the same 15 games for 8+ pages...
