Best Fighters this gen

I'm looking for a good fighter to play because it's been awhile since I've played one and I very much enjoy these games. What is the best fighter this gen in your opinion? I don't care about the newest, most popular fighting game just the best one.

Will be Tekken 6 easily.

I don't find any of those appealing. It's a tie between Naruto: UNS and SFIV. Naruto:UNS's demo was very fun. And SFIV looks so awesome.

But if I had to choose out of those three, I'd go with DOA4.

I agree, to bad my PS3 broke or I would be playing SCIV right now :(.

The most balanced and deep? VF5.

The most fun? Soul Calibur 4.

Its really not a pure fighting game, its basically just Mario,Link,Samus then the roster is filled with characters who havent had a game come out in the last 10-15 years (and none of them where in a fighting game what so ever).

Its like Mario comes out with a Football game, people wouldnt dare call it a actuall sport/football game.

Pure fighter is probably one thats more traditional and is much deeper than just using two atack buttons and jumping around like it's a platformer and using weapons like poke'balls and smash balls that require zero skill.

Virtua Fighter 5 is probably one of the deepest modern day fighters out and let me know how many buttons that game uses please? Go ahead.

Compare SNK and Capcom. 6 buttons for Capcom vs Neo Geo's 4 buttons.

Simple thing as turning weapons and items in Brawl off. That's how its played competitively.

take a guess how many buttons soulcalibur uses and how some get by

three buttons, guard and an analog direction

for combos i can imagine most having the bumpers or L/R1 button set to them

not so deep anymore when your still using a button and a thumbstick or Dpad press?

seriously...who remembers those rediculous combos when that will work just fine for a stategic game...button mashing is even noober way that works...can say that for smash...you can only button mash to a very small extent.
