Best First Person Shooter of the year? (poll)

What do you guys think the best fps this year is? Take into account story, features, gameplay, and fun factor

My pick is a tie between BF:BC2 and Halo Reach.

Here's some info:

BC2 - awesome multiplayer which is quite hard to get into if you are a low rank, as higher levels will slaughter you, No Co-Op despte 4 unique characters in story.

Metro 2033 - No MP, but an awesome story and some innovative mechanics

Halo Reach - Content galore,Good Story,Fun Mp, yet repetative gameplay

Cod BO - Addictive Mp, yet comletely unchanged gameplay from Cod 4, OK Story. Fun (yet completely unrelated) Zombie mode.

I'd say Reach, but I still need to play a lot more Black Ops, especially zombies.

BO and BC2 are the best, the other two are mehJ-WOW

You didn't play it, so don't judge it. Just watching video footage can make any game seem 'meh'.

Metro 2033!

Reach is nice, but it just felt like more of the same, updated. Pretty bored of Halo.. BC2 was awesome at first, but there are too few maps and the hit detection is often bad.

Overall Halo Reach but i prefer Bad Company 2´s mp

Bioshock 2 was great, the gameplay is so smooth compared to the first, and rapture is still fun to explore even for the second time around.FIipMode

This thread was about your favourite shooter. Not the best shooter that's available for more than one console. Wish people would stop with all this fanboy nonsense. "You like a game that's for 360 only?! FANBOY!! Cause, there's absolutely no way that a person can enjoy Halo more than any other FPS this year and not be a fanboy."

None of those games were that good imo

Halo: Reach. Would've said Bad Company 2, but after my friends left the game and I had to play with randoms, it got incredibly boring. Black Ops is the same game I played in 2007. I have not played Metro yet, so no comment.

Reach definitely. It's like Shadowrun and Halo CE had a baby, and it's awesome. Black Ops is the same thing we've been playing since 2007.

Plagueless

Most of weapons do the same damage, and you can unlock all the special devices (ammo box, detectors, health packs, repair tool...) in the first 10 hours of game. If a high level player is slaughting you is due his experience with the maps or because the skill, not due he has better weapons, trust me.

with all the gametypes ill be playing it for a long time

Halo Reach for me. Fantastic game by a fantastic developer. BioShock 2 is a very close second.

Bad Company 2 easily. Heck I still play it today. Metro 2033 would follow in 2nd. It's a really fun game (and has SW mentioned it's awesome graphics that consoles can't touch? Hmm don't think so.) Black Ops would go in 3rd as the MP isn't that impressive but the SP was one of the best I've played this year. Dead last would be Halo Reach. Got tired of that game 2 days after it released and havent picked it up since.

BFBC 2 out of that list, but Bioshock 2 would be my game of the year

Why is reach in that list anyway? I could list 10 shooters this year alone that are better than reach.

Metro 2033 hands down.
