Red Dead Redemption.
Is astounding the masses of land R* crafted for this game......of which the player can explore while looking just superb with very minimal pop ins (that are one of the main issues for today's console open world games) that were very well handled and frankly if you play the game, you have to give these guys an insane ammount of credit for being dedicated. Thus making meticulous efforts to ensure the pop ins were as unnoticeable as possible. And how great of a job they did. And the did I say the game manages to look amazing? :?
Maybe I might sound like Im over doing it in terms of praise, but its just that I forgot how magnificent R* is in their....hands down....area of absolute expertise. I can't even fathom the level of perfection their next generation games are going to be.
I bought RDR 5 days ago and Im playing it nonstop. Marvelling at everything and anything. The Fame/Honor sytem really affects the flow of the game.
And while of course, they do not exceed their potential with limited hardware; it is an amazing achievenement for a game of this grand magnitude. Honestly, last year I was skeptical on Gamespot giving GOTY to RDR but it'd be a crime if this game didnt snatch such title. Your eyes are close if you havent played this game....they are opened the moment you take action, buy this game and accept the fact that this is only but a fracment of the near future of open world games.
