super smash bros brawl - best local multiplayer game ever. RTS games like warcraft/aoe ii/starcraft come very close though. Even some MMROPGs

Finally! A non-biased poll. I'll say Braid, if anyone a ico or sotc fan, i recommend you guys to download it off xbl, the artwork sucks. but it's possible the best downloadable game off the market. I'm pretty sure the only one's that will appreciate Braid are ico fans, and us true gamers.

Ok, Best Game ever made and you don't even have any Metal Gear Solid game, or the Chrono Series and especially Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Sorry but none of that you have listed is the best game ever made.

like i said....this poll was solely based on opinions Im curious about......the other option doesnt matter much for me but i put it in so it covers generally everything and i dont get complaints.....but somehow sw comes through again......"my game is not listed".....plz open your eyes and see it is....

When coming up with the "best" game, subjective opinions have to be completely avoided. You have to measure by something? Impact on the industry. Depth of the features. Quality of the writing. You've got to judge by something other than personal liking or else it isn't going to be a "best" list. Instead, it would be a "favorite" list. I honestly do not know what would be the best game. Maybe a Mario game, judging by it's sheer impact on 2D and 3D platforming.

Since everyone has their own personal favourites and no game can be objectively "best."
