I honestly did not enjoy mass effect. I think i was expecting another epic like kotor, but it just never really picked up. The end was kind of cool, but the story was very straightforward. Useless side missions, exploring the same identical empty worlds and mini stations underground. Plus the art direction was awful.

Since you guys seem to know stuff about PS3s, Would it be a bad idea to get a 40 GB PS3? I can get a cheap used one on Ebay for only $250. Or would it be better to just pay more money for an 80 GB?

If you plan on installing a lot of things, I would go for 80GB, otherwise 40GB, though some games force you to install to to even play them(Metal Gear Solid 4 being the most common one).

Well tbh Id buy a new console, I mean if a 80gb comes down to $300 with a dualshock 3 and a game or two its sooo worth it, and if your a GT fan like myself you'll buy the bundle, which is what im planning to do because we're making a second home theater and it so far lacks a Blu-ray player, and at least if my PS3 would ever break again, all i need to do is walk up one floor and keep on playing.

Wii= mario galaxy DS= pokemon PC= dawn of war (if it is considered this gen) 360 and PS3= RE 5 and Street Fighter 4 PSP= I have no idea, I have not played one in years... if ever... Best game I have played this gen= Crono Triger for the DS. Sure it is not new, but it is still the best RGP ever.
Wii - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess or Super Mario Galaxy. DS - The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Eventhough there's so many amazing games). PS3 - I haven't played enough to pick. Xbox 360 - Something that's not an FPS.
Really now? I couldn't even tell you. The exclusives actually need to be worth it. If anything, Sonic Unleashed, Eternal Sonata, and BlazBlue have gotten my hopes up for this gen.

So you're saying there isn't a single good game on both the PS3 or the PSP?
360 - Mass Effect (Exclusive - Lost Odyssey or Halo 3)
PSP - Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
DS - Many good games that are worthy yet I haven't beaten yet.

I don't own a Wii, therefore I don't feel I could give a decent opinion.
I did play Twilight Princess on the Gamecube, I played a little bit of Super Mario Galaxy and I have played a lot of Brawl, but I haven't given myself a lot of time with the system and its games to warrant my opinion.
