I gotta say MGS3.
I imported it a long time ago, and I still listen to it now.
After all, I love orchestrated music, and I love jungle (drum & bass), so how could I not love this?

i liked halo soundtracksniperpenguins
I like the theme music from Halo, especially the Halo 3 version, but other than that there weren't many memorable tracks...
The Last Spartan was pretty good I guess...
Some of my faves:
I notice not many people say this one:
Half Life 2
I mean some of the music in there is so damn cool. It totally fits the futuristic and dystopian feel of the game

Halo also has a great soundtrack.
Halo and Half Life 2 is my answer.
I'm bumping your thread. I hate it when I see a non-offensive, non-fanboy, non-retarded thread with something to discuss go down only after 2 pages.
if you are into older music, bioshock would have a sweet soundtrack. after beating the single player yesterday, there is quite a few pleasant "oldies" songs in there that i would never listen to outside of a game, but it just felt right in it.mtradr43
You BEAT the game? They sold it to you?! You lucky...
Anything japanese, honestly, western games have the crappiest sound tracks ever. I will give SOME exception to Halo, but that's really nothing spectacular.
Shadow of the Colossus for me, the songs really give a great feel to fighting the colossi. For the slow, passive colossi (like the sea dragon (electric eel) and the horse (giraffe), it fits great. And then when you get on the colossi and find their weak point, it also matches well.

I agree. I've been listening to the opening track again pretty often the last few days.
The soundtrack really made you feel like a hero when you were about to slay a colossus. I loved that so much. :)
