best handheld game this gen Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker

I would have to say Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker.

runner up I would give it to Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars PSP version, the ds version is good but the psp puts it to sleep.

after buying that game online I have to say it's amazing, the stealth, the beautiful handheld graphics, all the work that Hideo Kojima put into it, just the little moments like parachuting a soldier you just put to sleep with a well placed shot,

thank you Kojima again you're a genius and legend in the gaming world.

Kojima even went as far as only being happy when he hears the review for the game which means he cares more about the experience and gamers in general.

The DS already has Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Castlevania, Mega Man, Contra, Sonic, Castlevania, and most of Nintendo's major franchises, so they aren't really in need of a Metal Gear game.

With that said, it would be cool to see them remake Metal Gear 1 and 2 on the DS with MGS1 style graphics. It would give those games another chance with modern gamers, and would give the DS another major gaming franchise to add to its collection.

Ok, I'll agree with you on this one. I would love to see a Metal Gear Solid game on the DS.

If the Game Boy Color could get one back in the day, then I fail to see why the DS can't get a 3-D MGS title.

DS has almost sold 130 million, the gameboy sold 118 (167 if you include GBC) and GBA sold 80.48. If we look away from all the ludicrously huge flops like games.com, gizmondo and N-gage, the PSP is technically in last place

I might pick up a PSP for this... although 4 left a bad taste in my mouth in terms of story. What's your opinion on the game's narrative? Does it end well?

not to mention Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and God of War Ghosts of Sparta are coming soon.

My favorite is Bangai-O Spirits the one I'm most anticipating is between Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light.

TC is completely right, Peace Walker is the best handheld this gen. Its got amazing graphics, amazing gameplay, amazing story and incredible depth. If anyone disagrees, I'd like to hear reasons.

Once again twelve games on the DS(15 if you count the three Nintendogs games ) have all attained the same score as Peace Walker. 4 of them have a higher score then Peacewalker itself.

And Dragon Quest IX, Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light, and maybe Kingdom Hearts: Recoded are all coming to the DS in the coming months.

No, there are only three Nintendogs games that got AAA status. One of them Nintendogs: Dalmatian and Friends is a AA game.

By the way, I removed Nintendogs due to Ninja's obsession with bringing it up every time anyone mentions AAA titles on the DS. As I said before, without the Nintendogs games, the DS still has more AAA games then the PSP.
