Doesn't seem like much praise. I'm not knocking it, but you can't say what you think it deserves until you played through it.
Did you actually read IGN's review or did you just conveniently watch the video review because you should know that they don't really mention much in their video reviews. They always say at the end to read the full version.

Indeed. That being said, IGN's video review was just awful. They have always made crummy video reviews. It always seems like it's fan made or user video review or something.

The guy from GT TV (don't know his name) Oh yeah, true, true, I remember now. I've only seen GT TV a couple times, so it would make sense I woulden't clearly remeber.
As usual, GT seems like the only source that gives the whole story. The more in-game footage I see, the more "meh" I feel about the single player and the graphics. On the other hand, the multiplayer sounds more and more interesting.

Yeah, it was quite pleasing to the ears. He also sounded quite neutral in most of the things he was saying, since he was just reading off a script after all.

I have to agree with you on that, watching it in HD you really get to see how bad (well when i say bad i mean not as good as some people make out) a lot of the textures/graphics really are BUT how good the lighting/blurring system covers it all up, the lighting in particular looks great IMO. I do agree regarding the MP aswell, it seems really good and well done from the looks of it and much better than any console FPS MP i've seen.
