I think its amazing how he actually gets "wet" after he's be in the water. Thats awesome. It looks really good. And considering Naughty Dog is mainly known for their platformer genre, there is bound to be awesome replayability, and unlockables. (confirmed by one of the devs).

Uncharted looks very good. I hope it plays good(probably will)
I'm a 360 / Wii / PC owner and this is the prettiest console game I've seen, well this and Mass Effect. The only thing that I don't like about Uncharted is the main character, he looks like a WUSS! and he runs like a little girl. Also Main Char. animations are just poor, but damn some nice looking environments.
I'd put this and Mass Effect on the same lvl when graphics are concerned..... but when you have 2 games with amazing graphics its really just a matter of preference of visual style that dictates what looks better. Cuz, after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
this looks like an awesome game but wat i don't get is whysomebody would say "this game looks great" or a comment like that cause tey are opening the thread up to bee torn apart but fanboys. yes t looks likea great game and yes mass effect looks good to but you don't have to go around the gamespot forum saying so the fact of the matter is that it's a great looking game and its gonna be a great looking game but plz just keep u thoughts to urself an save very1 the trouble of aching their tired little igers on a keyboard

after killzone 2, uncharted has to be the most overhyped game graphically, hey guess what, i played Stranglehold and 2nd Mission in stranglehold looked like mission from uncharted :lol:
This is the holiday release game I am most excited about. You can keep your assassins creed, your UT3, your Haze, your Mass Effect, I'll take Uncharted. Not that those games aren't good. I'm excited abouyt many games this winter. But Uncharted looks to be on its own, there's nothing else being released like it.

I own Heavenly Sword, and let me say that I'd rather play 7 hours of that game vs 16 hours of some of the crap developers are giving us. If IF Uncharted is 7 hours it won't effect my purchase.

put the crack pipe down. Bioshock looks like Doom 3 with a tune up.
This game is what happens when you produce it on the PS3 only taking advantage of it, and guess what its Naughty Dogs first game so its only going to get better. As they make more games.

Please, did you miss the part where the environment was moving according to some sort of wind engine? On top of that the shading? Gears did not have any of this.

Bioshock has an custom look to it making it pretty but its by no means a graphics power house game (even if it chugs the frame rates down at times during game play)

I own a PS3.I really want to play a great game on it.Yeah,it looks incredible.But Gears of War looks better.Sorry.Gears is something you have to play to believe.Even the guys at PC Gamer were surprised when they heard that UTIII for the PC might look better than Gears of War.When hermits are impressed with a console games' graphics, you know it looks good.

It's 12 to 14 hours long plus it has replay value.
Every game is shorter than the developers say or reviewers say.Half-Life 2 may be my all time favorite game but it took me 9.5 hours to complete while reviewers say it takes 15-20 hours.Episode 1 took me 2.5 while they say 4-6.And Halo 3 took me 7 hours (that includes me dieing and restarting) when they said it takes 10-12 hours.Uncharted will probably be around 6-8 hours.Which I don't mind if the game is very good.
Uncharted does look better than any other console game currentlyout, I agree. Definitely going to pick it up in November, Naughty Dog always makes fun games.

You mean, like most adventure games........ right? What kind os MP would you want from Uncharted. To me, and MP for this game would be horrible and pointless.

Bioshocks framerate was locked at 30 fps during actions sequences on consoles. The only way anyone saw the framerate chug was if they were playing it sup-par PC or turned off the framerate lock. I also liked how the dev was so proud they got 30+fps out of the engine. Considering that's the minimum standard console devs shoot for I should hope they go that much. Uncharted does like nice, more importantly if looks fun, but the best looking console game to date? I'm not seeing it.
