every video game has it's own style so really it's up to what the gamer or person wants to see, other than that great looking pics, I might pick up Mass Effect. Very tempted to get a Wii.......
Are you saying the rock textures, moss, leaves, vines and stuff look better in the game pictures than they do in the target render? Because they don't. Look at the difference in ground textures! Anyway...just stop using the target render as evidence for how the game looks.

That ain't target render Killzone stuff. That is one of the many Alpha builds of the game. Running in the true-to-life game engine. Known as CryEngine 2. That stuff is rendered in real time my friend. At CES 07, it was rendered in real time on a single core CPU system.
