Best looking PS3/XBOX360 games (POLL)

first question why are 360 games even in the poll?

God of War 3 and Crysis 2 are two fantastic looking games on the PS3 and 360 respectively

God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 are pretty neck and neck in terms of graphics me thinks

I used to think that, based on screens and whatnot. However, once I actually bought a ps3 I changed my mind. The overall aesthetics, animation especially, in games like Uncharted 2 and God of War is just beyond what 360 has to offer. Looking at screens is one thing, but actually playing the games is another story.

I have played Gears 2. The most disappointing game this gen, imo. The graphics were serviceable. Don't get me wrong, they look good for xbox, but it is one of those games that looks far better in still-shot form than in motion. Everything about that game is just too clunky, including the visuals. What is amazing about uncharted is that, while it looks great in still-shots, it looks even better in motion. The clothing and hair especially...

UC2/3, GoW3 I guess. But I'll tell you what, that footage of the multi-plat Tomb Raider looked extremely impressive.

It isnt even a competition :?. Gears 3 is pretty nice and may beat some other big titles on PS3, but Uncharted 3 beats all, and Gears 2 looks like crap.

On topic, so far i would say Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption and Crysis 2. By the end of the year, i believe that the best looking console games will be Uncharted 3, Forza 4 and Gears 3.

let's face the truth here, all multiplats look the same on 360 and ps3, and basically all games(multiplats/exclusives) run with 1280x720 and 25-30fps so not really much or a difference between the two.

Final Fantasy XIII for sure. I think it's the best-looking game I've seen yet, though not for its sheer technology, but because of the aesthetic qualities.

The only 360 game that even comes close to the top dogs on PS3 is Gears 3, which really impresses me, given that Gears 1 and 2 look pretty bad by todays standards. I feel like MS's devs didnt really try before, but Gears 3 proves that they can do great stuff.

Although I do agree, for multiplats RDR and some others are very nice looking. RDR has a bit too many issues though to be at the very top, although it is a looker no doubt.

From a video I saw here recently of the 360 version, I think Skyrim could probably be added too. It has so much detail for such a big, open game, and impressive weather effects.

360- Forza 4, Gears 3

PS3- U3

RDR & Crysis 2 so far but if I tell the one that's coming to steal the crown, it may send ya into a RAGE. :P

Oh, and I'm sure Gears 3 & UC3 will be stunning as well.

I disagree. Perhaps if you were to see some screenshots, but the performance issues of Crysis hold it back.

It has some performance issues but, damn, ppl exagerate alot. the game runs at 28+ fps most of the time. Also a few issues here and there doesnt change the fact that it´s a beautiful game.

I dont think that lack of polish has anything to do with the consoles hardware since Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 look better while running in HD and 30 fps.

Uncharted 2, God of War 3, and Wipeout HD Fury have impressed me the most. Wipeout is severly underrated for its visuals on SW. 1080p Native, 60 FPS, great artstyle, etc. Its definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing games I've played
