Hmmm...
I guess :
GeoW, ROCKBAND, InFamous, Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance, Uncharted, BlazBlue, Boomblox, Madworld, and No More Heroes.
I loved Portal, but it was short little piece of a game.

EDIT : If I had to choose one, I suppose I would base it off how much fun I've had and the Replay value of this new IP.
With that Criteria, I suppose the winner is :
ROCKBAND.
It was hard, but I've had too much fun with that, and I still look forward to new songs EVERY WEEK. Amazing support. Runner up's are above.
yeah.. the topic title isn't plural, i only made a list to help people remember, since this gen has gone on for 4 years.captain_diego
Got it, I will EDIT my post :
ROCKBAND won, for having the best support I've seen, and too much fun to be had. It beats out my Wii when Parties start!

Also, one game doesn't make a whole franchise, so but you chose DEAD SPACE, so I assume you meant best new IP?
One game does not make a franchise.Pessuit only makes sense to use the word "franchise" when 80% of the population doesn't know what an "IP" is.

I vote for GeoW
Is this any different than homeworld1 & 2?

You mean game?
Sins of solar empire
topgunmv
Well both are strategy games that are set on space with huge space battles :P
There are though alot of differences one of which is that sins requires alot of micromanagement and it takes alot longer compared to homeworld to complete even a small map campaign ( it takes me about 5-6 hours even for small 2-3 players maps let alone 8-12 players maps) Another difference is that homeworld has a good campaign with a good story while sins only has skirmish single and multiplayer maps ( i didnt find the lack of story to be something bad though since like i said a map will take you alot of hours to complete and there are alot of maps plus the AI is good) Also sins is one of the best looking games considering its size ( having 2000 ships on screen engage in a huge battle makes my quad core cpu cry)
[QUOTE="dakan45"]hmm Uncharted Resistance dead space fallout 3 killzone 2 thats my top 5 games in this gen.captain_diegoyour are smart.
LOL... sig worthy!
This sort of posting is what makes visiting SW's worth it.
Cool, I'll have to check it out

Is a great and addictive game and a plus for the game is the good modding community ( there is ecen astargate and a starwars mod ) If you end up getting it make sure to get it with the entrenchment add-on ( game is 20 while with the addon is 25 i think) it adds alot to the game ( most important of which are home defenses since sins home defenses are pathetic and your almost rely on your fleet to defend your planets )Please Log In to post.
