AWESOME avatar.
Quick OT: Have you seen the trailer for the new movie? If so, thoughts?
Thanks. It's a pretty awesome album. You should check it out if you like Elm Street.
The trailer? Looks like rote Hollywood garbage.
[QUOTE="sonicthemegaman"]God, I'm sorry but that list just looks terribel to me. It screams a total lack of imagination. I guess Drake seeing how he had some personality followed by Travis. Thew are much better characters out there than these guys.Ryan_Som
Can't accept that answer without a rebuttal. Name some characters.
Spyro had a lot of attitude without being over bearing. He was well voiced and all his companions blended well with his character. Vectorman was also a very stylish character with unique design and his personality match the audience the game was aimed at. Jak & Daxter are a perfect example of good characters. Each have very different personalities and experience various emotions(not constantly emo or constantly happy). Megaman X wasn't just a Maverick Hunter. The kept referring to his emotions and he sure hell had them but he still a very content, get down business type of character. He had moments of guilt and indecisiveness but he wasn't afraid to fight for the peace Dr. Light created him to achieve. His connection with other characters in the story was very deep, especially in Maverick Hunter X , when he had to fight former teammates. In X5, he even had to up against his best friend Zero. The MMX story line isn't just a pile of cliches. It's a lot deeper than most of today's stories if you honestly call those dreks storylines. His name is Timmyho, and he has a soul lvl of 87, and is a Knight that loves to kill demons and black phantoms. :D
Despite the fact that he was starring in a mediocre game, I really liked Alex Shepherd from Silent Hill: Homecoming. He had a substantial role to play in the story and actually reacted naturally to his crazy surroundings.

This isn't an all-time thing. That's GameSpot's job. :P
Agree, Travis is a anime dork that likes to watch professional wrestling and pet his cat. He is also a socially awkward guy that could never get a chick and didn't he buy his first beam sword from e-bay? I heard the developer mention something like that but it was never hinted in the game.

The description of the Blood Berry (the first sword) stated that he bought it from an Internet auction.
