The Witcher 3 and i kid you not
A freaking 7850 and i'm able to play it with a mix of medium/high settings at 35fps average ( and it never drops below 30 with the exception of 2 occasions )
And for a game this size it was mostly bug free
Let alone the cpu optimization is freaking great
GTA V shouldn't be near this list
Shitloads of people (including myself) with 970 and 980 GPU's have the game become totally unplayable after about 45 mins of play.
Game runs perfectly during that time and then out of nowhere...constant stuttering.
I've also had problems with the audio fading out.
Seems to be a consensus that there's a memory leak.

That’s weird, I'm rocking a single GTX 970 and had no problem so far , it runs gr8 at 1080p
The Witcher 3, Ori and The Blind Forest, Pillars of Eternity, Cities Skylines, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. Even in Steam early access Trine 3 is beautiful and optimized game.
Definitely Witcher 3. People voting GTA V must not have played the game recently. With each patch the performance gets worse, and Rockstar acknowledges that.
Aside from the PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight, I'm pleasantly surprised by the console performance of the game on the Xbox One, and probably better on PS4 with native 1080p or whatever. There's so much going on in this game and there was so much room for stuff to go wrong and yet it was a finely tuned game all around. I think aside from PC port there was a slight issue with leaderboards but beyond that the game was solid on the Xbox One in every way that mattered.
I also have to tip my hate to Techland, considering the state the Dead Island games released in, I was pleasantly surprised the state in which Dying Light released.
I've honestly run into no problems playing Witcher 3. For a game of that magnitude, that's pretty outstanding.
Witcher 3 is really well optimized if you turn nvidias hairworks junk off. The framerate never seems to drop much. I run it 1080p on a 970gtx. Mostly max'd except shadows set on the middle setting.
Developers should learn to stay away from nvidias attempt to hijack their game. Look at what they did to batman. This is quote from nvidia's June 2015 drivers lol:
"Just in time for the highly anticipated title Batman: Arkham Knight this new GeForce Game Ready driver ensures you'll have the best possible gaming experience."
best experience as in 30fps of lag. Did they even play the game?
the order is the most obvious choice.
While the game was soo poorly handle but I like your answer though. Yeah I'll go with The Order: 1886.
because almost the entire game is a cutscene.
I would go with The Order.
I might not be revolutionary and it might be a movie game....but it's pretty and it plays well constantly.
For me, Total War: Attila, I've not had a single crashes with a hundred odd hours played.
The only time I've had any frame rate issues was with a city siege battle where I had two full armies (one inside the walls and one outside), being attacked by 3 full enemy armies and there was a third faction involved for the hell of it, another 15 or 16 units. That was a stutter fest andI fully expected my PC to go belly up, it didn't and I won the battle.
