Best Racing series poll

So which one it's your favourite series and why?

GT because I can play it for 2 years and still have challenges to complete and not get bored

Eh,a shame that the king of racing sims(with retail version) isn´t in the poll.

well my favorite is just burnout.

just so crazyy and fun. 3 may be6 years old but its enjoyment has only gotten better with age. they always have a great soundtrack and are always a great game to just pick up and play

I voted Gran Turismo, but I think Richard Burns Rally was by far the best racing experience I've ever had. GTR2 for PC was also pretty good and at least the engines sounded like more than industrial vaccuum cleaners *cough* Gran Turismo *cough*.

Anything by Codemasters.

They are the best racing game dev out there.

Need for Speed, I had the most fun playing the older games. :)tagyhag

F-Zero, Mario Kart, Excite Series, and I hope Sony Santa Monica will make a new Kinetica. I never played it but it looked interesting I couldn't find it when I got my PS2 in 2002.

The Burnout series is really good.

Back in the day it was GT no doubt about it, no competition (GT 1-3 are some of my fav racers ever)

But now adays, this gen and last its Forza series no doubt.

nfs by miles, the serris offers much more then just the racing sims offers

i guess as a series gt is tough to beat but come-on, the last good one was GT2. after that when everyone else went online and added damage and poly could not follow the series tuned into a joke.

i may end up buying gt5 but really i'm doing it because i'm hurting for 3d software not because i believe gt5 will be the best racing game out.

hopefully i'm wrong and poly can turn the series around.

as far as racing goes these days my number one priority in how good the online is and i doubt poly can match any other series that has been doing it for the last 6 years.

Still Need for Speed for me.

Gran Turismo. The 4th one is an amazing game. I just played it for the first time about a couple months ago, and I can play that game for hours.

The best sim racing series out there is Forza Motorsport. Its been the most consistent over three iterations. The best arcade series out there is either Burnout or F-Zero, all very solid games.
