I know it's not out but it will guaranteed be my new favorite RPG this gen once it is. For games already out, does Persona 4 count? I know its for PS2 but it hasn't even been out a year so you could consider it this gen. If so then that is definitely my favorite RPG this gen. If not, then TWEWY is my favorite. It was such a unique experience and I loved every minute of it. For other games, it's still too early in Demon's Souls to make a judgement (PS3 has pretty much no other RPg's either) and I haven't played all the 360 RPGs I want to play yet.
I just thought TC was naming WRPG.. and isn't Demon souls also not like the traditional jrpg? don't know much aboutThe World Ends With You... so I guess I jumped the gun there.
Pokemon is the only RPG i really play. The only Console RPG i have played is PaperMario now that i think of it. I don't even have plans to buy one. I may buy Dragon Quest Wii if it gets good scores. Or Tales of Grace. But both are big IFS!
Out of that list The World Ends With You. Fallout 3, mass effect and Valkyria Chronicles are excellent as well. Have yet to get my hands on Demons souls.
No offense if I'm off base but you are joking right? I personally thought people underrated that game. The battle system was okay. But the awful characters, art, story was just to much. I couldn't play that title no more than 12 hours.
