Best RPG's Xbox 360 VS PS3

I go Where final fantasy 14 goes so until Final Fantasy 14 is anounced for 360 (and it will any minute now i bet) Im saying Ps3 is better!

As soon as Final Fantasy 14 is anounced for 360 then the 360 kills the Ps3 in RPGs by a landslide.

(If you could not guess im a Final Fantasy 11 player lol)

And yeah, the 360 takes it in terms of RPGs, but it's looking like things will be getting more even soon enough.

Theres already 2 Final Fantasy games being released in 2010....not to mention versus is still in early development.

I actually bought Cross Edge today on Amazon, after playing a friend's copy.

I think it's amazing, IGN be damned.

Yeah I heard it was pretty good from a friend and like no other game site has reviewed it. just a 3.5 from IGN and 6 from PTOM

Tales of Vesperia vs Valkyria Chronicles for JRPGs, Mass Effect vs Untold Legends(lol?) for PS3.

Valkyria Chronicle wins, but it's a SRPG so not for everyone.

I think someone should intervene. There are too many crappy titles being dropped in here. Lets speak quality only, shall we? (lol, this is just my opinion, really.) 360: Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesparia, and Star Ocean 4. I'd like to add that anyone who included Fable 2 or Blue Dragon failed. lol PS3: Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, and Folklore. I'd again like to add that PS3 will see the release of a much much more epic version of Tales of Vesparia this fall. It comes loaded with new characters and quests and what not plus twice the spoken dialogue. Oh, and anyone who mentioned Disgea or Cross Edge failed. :P That's just my opinion, though. For me its really hard and the real competition only stands with ME and LO vs VC and DS. Its a tought one, but I'll have to say PS3. I'm a sucker for Valkyria Chronicles. That's a game 360 RPG fans should start crying for. You really are missing out. Nephilim83

Currently:

JRPG's = PS2>DS>360>PS3.

WRPG's = PC>360>PS3.

PS3 has a few great exclusiveRPG's but it's still lacking but with Demon Souls, White Knight Chronicles and a couple games coming by NIS America and maybe a U.S. release of TOV it'll most likely surpass the 360 in JRPG's but not a chance with WRPG's.

all that points out is the mediocrity of rpg's this gen for both 360 and ps3. might as well get a ps2 or ds if all you care about is rpg's.

I would say that ToV would be better compared to Cross Edge, both are JRPGs. I do like Cross Edge but ToV has a major edge.

For SRPGs, it would be Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 vs. Spectral Force 3, Zoids Assault, and Operation Darkness. I played Spectral Force 3, it was pretty fun but not as good as VC and Disgaea 3. Zoids Assault was like watching grass grow, (I am also mad at that game, they made it so boring, I was looking forward to it because I love Zoids). I had not played Operation Darkness. But from what I read in reviews and the guide book it a game that prides it self on being unfair. So the PS3 has a major edge on SRPGs.

But for the overall RPGs the edge goes to the 360,

Yeah I haven't really cared too much for RPG's this gen anyway.

Only one's I've done are Mass Effect and Fallout 3 - teenie bit of Oblivion

Looking ahead FF13 and Mass Effect 2 are basically all that tickles me

My ps3....becuase i can play my whole ps2/1 collection on it :lol:
