Since I cannot create a poll now, we shall post our most favourite soundtrack below :P

Heavy Rain soundtrack (its epic!!! :D)

keep in mind Im talking about soundtrack, not sound effects or design. I think BC2 has great sound effects but the soundtrack is... I dont know even know if there is one :P but the Vietname soundtrack is awesome IMO

Heavy Rain soundtrack!!! ;) its so epic I dont know how to explain, and it greatly fits the atmosphere. Very well done :D

The most recent game that I played, VVVVVV, had a great soundtrack!

If anyone likes a good challenge, this game is great! Is as hard, if not worse, than Super Meat Boy.

But I think from this gen Henry Hatsworth takes the cake, and EA is all "Here's our Henry Hatsworth soundtrack for free!". I must say that filled my heart with joy :oops:

I find SW's lack of faith in MW2's soundtrack disturbing.

Seriously, Hans Zimmer did a FANTASTIC job with the sound track. It's one of the more overlooked things on that game.

I've never heard the MW2 soundtrack, but I personally think the Half Life series has a pretty awesome soundtrack.

I think it has something to do with the soundtracks being assosciated with a shooter that keeps people from considering them to be good. Don't know why. People think I am trolling when I say Half Life 2 has a great soundtrack :(

It's really great, so is Halo, but I haven't heard HL2's soundtrack before. Never played it.

I know it has a good soundtrack. Problem is that the other soundtracks absolutely destroy it because they are way more unique and don't feel as cliche as some of the songs in the MW2 that sound like it came from some blockbuster movie that you've seen in the past. It just doesn't feel as original or exciting when it sounds similar to something else. Since Zimmer has done like everything (seriously do you know how much film scores he has composed?), no wonder some of the tracks sound so familiar lol.mD-

No one takes it seriously because it's a shooter. And to be honest, what's so horrible about great songs from movies? You can only expect a certain type of music from a genre. It has to set the tone and mood, if it had music from say, an RPG, it would sound retarded.

I really liked the ME 1 and AC 2 soundtracks.
