Sonic the Hedgehog 2006...
na not really, I would say Lost Odyssey but i think that gets alot of praise for its story, in that case il say Blue Dragon.
I agree it had a great story (for a game) and characters you cared about.thread title says it all.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortunehavokmastertill this day I still dont know if I like or hate the completely 100% random plot twist in the game.
Couldn't of said it better myself...:)Tales of Vesperia hands down . Best RPG this gen period and one of my fav's all time . Having the lead char that is somewhat an anti hero is fantastic.

Really has to be Bioshock, that game had a plot worthy of a blockbuster movie, and honestly one of the best plot-twist ever in any media. Not to mention that almost every single line of dialogue is absolutely amazing. Everything from the mad artist Cohen to the genius that is Andrew Ryan or the mysterious Atlas. Truly superb games that just gets better by everytime I play it.GamingcucumberBut doesn't everyone already acknowledge Bioshock's great story? lol :P (thread title)

The Witcher has an excellent story that doesn't get enough credit. But that's probably because the game is based off a novel.mo0ksiIf everyone knew that :P

Agreed. Can't wait for Cing's next project to hit stores this year, I still remember all the characters and plot twists from Hotel Dusk.
From what I have played, I vote Uncharted. Everybody talks about it's gameplay and graphics, but I never hear anything about the story.

Prince of Persia. Best video game ending I've ever seen.Haziqonfire
you stole mine, I loved the ending so much. The chracters were great and their dialouge made me relate and care about them. And then that happened and I was like Oh Em Gee.
I want to play the epilouge so bad, but I don't want to pay 10 bucks for a game I only rented...unless there are any nice people out there that would like to barter....
I loved Tales of Vesperia, one of my favorites this generation. So underrated. I also thought Dead Rising had a fantastic story to. It was over the top yes but it was a great poke at American culture.Tales of Vesperia hands down . Best RPG this gen period and one of my fav's all time . Having the lead char that is somewhat an anti hero is fantastic.
