i wonder what would happen if nintendo sony and microsoft worked together (as unlikely as that may be)? what would be inside the box... and how would the games be?

They worked together in the early 90's to create a system, but it never went through because Nintendo was too greedy.

Then came along the PS1 which dominated the 64, the rest is history...

Then came along the PS1 which dominated the 64, the rest is history...

Thats exactly what happened. Nintendo didn't want to give Sony a peice of the software action. Google it. If anything, Sony may be a t fault for not responding; "Are you crazy?" and negotiating a deal.

Whoops - I am an idiot. My apologies. Maybe I should have googled it before I shot my mouth off. Nintendo was indeed given a raw deal. I was always under the impression that Nintendo was a fault, since the pulled out, joined Phillips and got something that was no where near as successful as the PS1. Again, I am sorry.

It would be a complete wreck beginning in the planning stages. :P Plus the DS is the best system ever. ;)
