Oblivion looked better on PS3 because the PS3 version came out almost a year after the 360 version. Why wouldn't you buy the PC version in the first place (if you can)?

Didn't PS3 Oblivion come out a year after the 360 one? and have more time to be slightly polished up? And didn't they release a patch for the 360 to bring it up to par?

You're assuming development started on both consoles at the same time, which they didn't.

I don't enjoy playing on PC as much as on my ps3. I don't know why, but I just don't. The only games, out of the 20 or so that I've purchased, that I've finished on PC are Portal and Portal 2.

I don't understand why ppl compare xbox and ps3 multplats by there graphics they lookpretty much the same ppl over exaggerate the diff. in graphics heck if console gamers care about graphics so much go buy a pc, because if graphics are that important clearly the pc is for you. Either way this game is going to be great on both consoles I am buying it for the 360 because of xbox live I would like to talk to friends while playing which I cannot do on ps3
Ok, Threads like these are laughable. If you want superior Multi=Plats. game on the PC. Who cares that the 360 version runs .0001% better? Are you really going to notice? Are you really going to care which game has more extra leaves, or which game has an extra rock? PC always gets the better Multi-Plats, you're figting for second place of something noone cares about. I don't get why ppl think the 360 version of every game looks that much better than ps3 I play games on both consoles and some are are the same game and I don't notice any diff.

Fallout New Vegas is the same on PS3 and 360 (I own both copies)...however Fallout 3 on PS3 had issues the 360 version didn't have
I have no idea why they would have the 360 as the lead platform in the first place seeing as how they've treated PS3 owners (exclusive timed DLC, porting Oblivion,etc.) but I suppose it may have something to do with the deal they have with Microsoft. Similar to the deal Sony has with EA and the majority of its' publishers, Battlefield 3 is shown exclusively (on consoles) for PS3 but no gameplay of the 360 version is shown and the PS3 was the console lead.
Microsoft pretty much has Ubisoft, Bethesda and Activision in its' back pocket so....
Why would anyone who owns both systems get the PS3 version.
Better graphics, performance, exclusive DLC for a month. Only on 360.

I own both, and I'm planning on getting for PS3. Your first two claims are pure speculation, and exclusive DLC doesn't really mean much to me, with this game as large as it is waiting 30 days will be nothing.
It's a Bethesda game. all versions will be buggy...so who cares?
But if you wanna brag about the 360 version being superior to the Ps3 version because said version freezes twice a playthru, instead of 3 times a playthru

EDIT: And worth mentioning, I bought all third party games on PS3 because I didnt trust my 360... which I had to send in to MS for repairs twice within a year. ;) Suddenly me liking my PS3 better than my 360 makes since huh?
HoPefully Bethesda will stop being lazy and use the ps3s full cappabilities like valve. They used to detest the ps3 too, but these days they take 360gamers for chumps. Even though I have a 360, il just get the pc version even though il probably on play it at medium settings, but mods really give more bang for My buck.
