Of all those games the ones I have enjoyed more are from Bethesda, but then it's a Bioware landslide. My vote goes to Bioware.

Bethesda is getting destroyed! I chose Bioware...wolverine4262Well, Bethesda needs to give their games more polish.
I dunno both are overrated imo...
Bestedhas titles are usualy so freaking sterile and unimpressive at times its almost a crime to the exelent gameplay (Kvatch in oblivion... seriusly! 4 guys?!?!). It seems all they have is 4 voice actors or something. Evreyone looks the same and talks the same. Also their animations are quite horrible.
Bioware has been recycling their D&D styled gameplay for waaay to long in my book...
Whats superior to D&D? Just curious...because I havn't heard of it...I dunno both are overrated imo...

Bioware, no competition. They're games are always setting the bar higher and higher for WRPGs. Bethesda, well, they set nothing, except maybe the low. They're one of the worst RPG developers out there, past or present, IMO.

agreed...
I'd love to see Bioware do a game linking these great AD&D modules again:
Scourge of the Slave Lords (A1 - A4)
Against the Giants (G1 - G3)
Descent Into the Depths of the Earth (D1-D2)
Vault of the Drow / Demonweb Pits (D3 - Q1)
That would be awesome, adding a couple new twists. Those are classics!
I love both developers, but I just realised I have never finished a title made by either of them. I've played so many hours of Morrowind, Oblivion & Fallout 3, but came close to finishing Morrowind & Fallout 3, but have never actually completed one. Same goes for Bioware games, but I want to, & will finish Mass Effect & more then likely Dragon Age Origins, which I have in my console at the moment but have kind of lost interest in for now. I never finished KotoR, but I enjoyed what I did play, didn't like the combat in Jade Empire but my brother finished it & has said it was great, so I might check it out.
I just plain couldn't get into Baldurs Gate 2 when I tried it. It might be a lot like Dragon Age, which I find kind of slow anyway, but coupled with the graphics, movement & my lack of interest in the character everyone claims are great, I barely got past the annoying dungeon area.
:O how could you not like the combat in jade empire? i thought the whole thing was so excellent, i preffered it to kotor , man play it the plot twist is epicI'm guessing you like Bethesda better? :P Honestly, I find the choices you make in Bioware's games to be more difficult and the consequences are more severe depending on your choice. In fallout 3, it was either act like a total jackass, be God's messenger, or a combination. Mass Effect and Dragon Age don't seem so black and white.Only game I was interested in was Fallout 3, which is great with numerous flaws, but I loved Star Wars: KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and is now playing and enjoying Dragon Age, so...

I dunno i just hate evreything relying on stats. Its just fealing like im some overmind of a bunch of dudes not actualy the guy im seposed to be. Elder Scrolls with the action-y combat make me feal like i am the protagonist... But like i said Besthedas titles are horribly sterile... So I realy dont feal like playing...
