excellent just excellent, bungie knows how to make a game the last one is almost at the in engine teaser level, i mean there is only a lil difference!

this game owns, the graphics i think are as good as gears now!

Actually guys, Bungie actually did one lie. That was the Halo2 SP trailer at E303. It didn't look like "anything" from the Halo2 campaign that we have played already.

But still, I do believe that screen shot is in-engine material. The most shocking thing is that the visuals are not even finished yet, and the game still looks fantastic. Bungie just need to add more details and scratches on MC's armor, then he will look like a sexy chick.....With muscles and a gun. :lol:

I wouldn't say that. We haven't seen the Brutes or any of the other models yet, so I do hope that everything will have a Pixar feel to it. If so, the game will look better then Gears in an artistic stand point.

I cant wait till all the haters are owned when the show the game in motion at E3.

That wasn't a lie... that was a demo they made, running on the xbox. Later down the line they clearly ran into problems whereby they just couldn't pull that off, and it ended up how it was. The same thing, but on a smaller scale.

Yeah, I know. But it is so stupid that Bungie worked their butts off on that demo, and then, after all that time of developing, they had to downgrade 60% of the game's epic feel. Either way, I guess the game still owned. Just not has much as Halo1.

Halo3, however, looks promising. I hope the campaign turns out the way I want it.

In my opinion this is a much more beautiful game than Gears to actually look at. Gears was techincally good and all but it was just too shiny and gritty and plastic etc. Halo 3 is a beautiful game with great use of colour and so on.

I believe without any doubt whatsover that the final version of Halo 3 is going to blow Gears out of the water with no problem whatsover.

One of the things I know it will do far better is hugewide open stunning environments...

can we PLEASE STOP with the "the game doesnt look as good as the trailer because of the texturing on the armor" the game ALREADY has better lighting and it will look EXACTLY like the trailer. STOP with the TEXTURES! there are images from the BETA MULTIPLAYER which show textures on the MCs armor that EQUAL to the bloody trailer.

the only reason people think the picture from the trailer is "better" is because the light is shining on the surface of the MCs armor and is shining all the textures and marks.

In my opinion the new armour looks better. The old one looked like it was made of cheap fiberglass but now it looks more like real armour imo.

I also don't think this is any kind of downgrade by the way, but an artistic decisionto alter the look of the Chief's armourslightly, because it actually looks better in the end...
