Both. I can usually max all PC games and get over 50 fps.

Noticed that you didn't mention a PS3 in your sig. You are missing out A LOT!

I had a PS3 and sold it to get a PC and don't feel I'm missing anything.

There needs to be a balance, and my preference leads toward performance if graphics or other factors affect performance. I hate slow framerate, and especially hate it when it's choppy. Have it polished and run well, and only improve graphics as far as you can until you start negatively impacting performance. That's my preference.

Performance.

If the game doesn't run well, then I don't care how it looks.

I'm not sure why developers don't strive for both.

Compromise for the best of both worlds. With PC games i generally like to have atleast 45fps if i can get 60 fps with good settings i will do that but if the graphical bump only lowers the framerate to 45 or so i don't mind playing like that as long as its a steady framerate slowdown is horrible.

Depends on the genre, but I will almost always take performance over graphics.

Slightly better performance can greatly improve gameplay. Slightly better graphics doesn't really do anything for me.

Yes, I get really annoyed if a game I'm playing doesn't consistently run at 60 fps. Doesn't matter to me as much on consoles because I'm bad with those controls anyways.

I'd upgrade so I could get good performance at the graphics settings I want:P

Why choose? Have both.
