Steam has been overcharging Europeans for years. The solution is to not purchase stuff there.
Unless they're gonna try and compete with UK retail prices it'll only ever be a login process to me. Simply making games Origin exclusive will make me continue buying retail copies.

It's this part that I have the issue with.

This should be on consent only, not forced upon me if I want to play BF3. Also I'm not referring to the fact they are overcharging Europeans, I'm talking about the fact they are charging me the same amount as Europeans when I don't even live there. It should just be US like steam.
Oh, I thought they had reverted everything. Guess not. But at least now they won't use collected data for marketing purposes and monitor your communications. Because EA would never use spyware!Anyway, my point with the pricing is; it's their problem, not yours. Just take your business elsewhere.
You seem to dislike Origin so why would you consider purchasing anything from there anyway?
