BF3 list of weapons, perks, vehicles, and more!

Today, DICE has posted an official list of weapons, attachments, perks, and vehicles which will be in BF3. You can see that list here.

But I am really disappointed and somewhat underwhelmed by this list. I was hoping to see a more diverse range of weapons. Additionally, the vehicles list also tells us that Iran probably won't be making it into the multiplayer. There is an Iranian assault rifle (KH2002) listed, but I am guessing it's an unlock and not a faction-specific weapon. Additionally, certain anachronistic weapons like the M1 Garand and the Thompson sub-machine gun won't be in the game. The Russian VSS (a personal favorite from BC2) is not listed either.

Finally, I find it odd that DICE would make the G3 an unlock, yet ignore its successor, the G36. Yes, I know the G36C is in the game, but why not the G36?

Assault rifles and carbines fire smaller caliber rounds than battle rifles do. Carbines are smaller and shorter versions of assault rifles.

9 maps doesn't disappoint considering the amount of playtime you get one a single map. I would rather them have 9 very solid maps over 15 just ok maps.

Why is there a P90 and then a P90tr as two sepearate weapons? It's the same gun, the P90tr just has attachments.

I'm a little disappointed with the weapon selection, but the G36C is there so it'll suffice.

Back to karkland is not day 1 dlc. Knowing dice they will pull the same stunt and we will only have 4 or 5 maps for each gamemode at launch, then the others will come later and we will get 3 new maps

I think 9 is fine. BC2 only launched with 5.

yup and like 83% if the population will only play 3 of the maps. numbers are kinda pointless IMO for PC gaming

It's a good list. Some things I would prefer to have it in would be the MP5/10 and the SPAS15 instead of the USAS12. Not glad they put in automatic pistols. Can see these being OP like they were in COD.

They also said that there wouldn't be anything in the game that makes weapons do more damage but I see that there are flak vests. I'm wondering if these are for bullets or just explosions (or both). If it stops bullets then essentially you have the same issue as BC2 where someone without a flak vest is disadvantaged in a firefight, the same as someone not having magnum ammo.

GLAD TO SEE THE COMMO ROSE IS IN... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. I guess the 3000 or so replies and 60,000 views on the commo rose thread on the EA forums made them take notice.

Assault rifles are rifles that usually fires bullets from the 5,56 mm to 7,62 mm capable to shot in either full auto or semi auto (sometimes in burst, also) with barrel lenghts about 35 to 60 cm. They are effective up to 300-400 mts usually. In example: G36E, M16A4, F2000, AUG, AK-47...

Carbines are assault rifles with shortened barrel designed for urban and close quartet combat, with barrels under the 30 cm mark in most of the cases. In example: the M4, the G36C, the Sig Sauer 553. Al are compact variants of assault rifles.

A battle rifle is a term that usually designs assault rifles that uses rounds from the 7,62 caliber and which usually only fires in semi auto and had extended barrels and modified ergonomics to fit the marksman role. In example: the M14 EBR, the FN SCAR Heavy in the sharpshooter configuration.

Oh, and the game will feature 13 maps on day one: 9 + 4 from back to karkand.
