Sure it can. But the Wind Waker is a great looking game, even if it isn't demanding.

I might take some screens of the 360/PS3 versions for fun, lol. Plus my friends are playing those versions.

I'm just wondering if it'll look better than BF3 on consoles, or if all the effort went towards the next gen and PC versions. Would be nice of you if you took some screens and posted them in the PC forum :)

My guess is that it will barely look better, lol, we'll see on Tuesday though, and then the PC screens at 1440p of course!

In certain respects, yes. IT's already at it's limits.

In terms of utilizing compute effectively, probably not. But that doesn't necessarily mean Battlefield 5 will be 1080p/60 FPS. It migh just mean it'll have more destruction/particle effects.

But Steam uses JPG.D= PNG>JPG by far, heck I even use PNG on console screens I take using Fraps and Bandicam.

And there is a function within steam whereby you can save all your screenshots uncompressed, so not in JPG. It's under settings.

Plus I love seeing FPS, temps of gpus, and how much VRAM games take so I use MSI Afterburner for that.

It's still a JPG I think, just uncompressed, but PNG is so much easier for me since I don't have to worry about JPGs at all.:P

Yeah, its a great program if you want all of those things. It's just not for me :P

It could be JPG, I haven't checked that feature. I just take a compressed screenshot, upload it to my steam account, which means I don't have to use another site to upload my pictures either. It's all integrated within steam, which I really like :)

Most of those comments from twitter were complementing the game. Lets just focus on the one guy saying it was bad. Who is that guy anyways? I was hoping that next generation meant 1080p and 60fps were going to be the new standard. The difference between 720p and 1080p isn't all that big ,but its still disappointing.

I'm sure most of the multiplats will be 720p or 900p upscaled to 1080p on the PS4. 50% more powerful my @ss. I think developers want their games at 60fps more then 30fps or less. the games will look better on the PC obviously, but more gamers will still play these games on consoles.
