Why the hell do people think one thing is going to kill another console? I hear people say this all the time. Hell, back when the PS3 launched, it had god knows how many nails put into it's coffin, but it's still around today, and no console can do anything to kill another one this gen.

And, seriously? A firmware upgrade!? You really think the Xbox 360 is going to be killed by that!?

my thoughts are the 360 has always had cross-game chat, and that it's still cheaper than the PS3.

it's the games the PS3 needs. not a price drop or anything like that - it'll help, but people still need the games to be there, especially if they already own PC/Wii/360 or any combinations.
