Biggest Disappointment of the Year?

What game has been your biggest disappointment of 2008 thus far?

For me, it's a tie between Haze and Too Human. On the one hand, Too Human IS a better game than Haze...marginally. On the other hand, Too Human has been in development for WAY longer and as a result, it got a lot more hype than Haze. What's your take?

Mario Kart was a bit of a letdown to me as well. not bad like those two games, but somehow not very engaging. i played it a few times and never played it again.

This is a war waiting to happen.

I'm just waiting for somone to list off a system instead of a game.

*1*Replying to your Topic's title I would say Home being delayed again is the biggest dissapointment this year. *2* One of my friends pre-ordered HAZE four months ago and after playing the demo he never picked up his copy. (5 bucks flushed down the toilet.) *3*Too human definitely gets dis-honorable mention, though.

i second this, i bought a PS3 to play this game, loved the first on PC. It was simply awful in every way.

For me it's Halo 3. I just got a 360, so I just got Halo 3. Couldn't stand the game. Sent it right back. And I thought with the scores it got it would at least be serviceable. Too Human I enjoyed more, oddly enough.

really? because i loved every minute of it .. one of my favourite games of all time really

as for disappointments this year, Haze and Too Human are the biggest two .. even though as their releases got nearer, i could see that they wouldn't deliver

all their hype came from the developers and their track records .. you'd expect Free Radical to make a decent FPS, and Silicon Knights to make something close to the quality of Eternal Darkness (the 10 year development, Dyack's comments, the Epic legal thing didn't help .. it just put more attention on the game)

I thought it was fantastic. It was genuinely funny, and had what GTAIV lacks; missions and side-missions based on just having fun. Insurance fraud was hilarious.

Could mean the low-res issues, but beyond that, the game was purdy.

As for the biggest disappointment for this year, probably Dark Sector. It was an alright game, but could have been a lot better.
