Based on the insane amounts of hype everywhere on the net, this site included, PS Battle Royale is the biggest fail to me. I'm still likely to buy it once it gets a lower price, but w/e
You do realize when people say Halo 4 is a flop its to get back at the butt hurt lems who called Uncharted 3 a flop? People expected UC3 to get a 9.5 and be asgood as UC2 which was one of the games of the gen, but its 9.0 rendered it a "flop" apparently, even though it was hyped AAA and scored AAA... the same there fore applies to Halo 4.
As much as I would say Vita, what happened with ME3 was possibly the most controversial thing to ever happen and the one of two games this year to really piss me off (the other game would be KH3D). Screwed up Talia, dumb ending, my choices hardly mattered at all, and the new ending was a powerpoint presentation. Never again, never again.game_masta14
I'm inclined to agree with this. How one of the most highly acclaimed series of the generation could go out with that ending, I'll never know.
Resident Evil 6 was definitely the biggest flop of the year, but Diablo 3's mediocre reception is still one of the year's hugest disappointments.princeofshapeir
Diablo 3... I bought a new pc just for this game.. Got my monk to level cap and hated doing that and realized the game was terrible. Uninstalled to never be played again.
Max Payne 3 was my biggest disappointment this year. It felt more like a Die Hard interactive movie than anything related to the previous two games. There were so many cutscenes interrupting the short gameplay sequences that I couldn't bring myself to finish it.
Resident Evil 6 is most likely the worse mainstream game released this year, but then again I never expected it to be any good. I knew it would suck hard since the first gameplay trailer.
