To me, it was World in Conflict. All these gamers who share similar RTS tastes with me said it was an amazing game and easily the best in 2007. But I just couldn't enjoy it.
It was supposed to be everything Gears 1 was, but better and minus the flaws when infact, everything turned out worse and the flaws were magnified. Host is practically unkillable when teams are of even skill, the lag was a lot worse than Gears 1, etc.
Red Dead Redemption. I actually really liked the game but my expectations were just so damn high. The graphics somehow were way better in the trailers, the world was a lot less interesting than I thought it would be and the MP was just MEh. Theres lots of other little things but the ones I mentioned are the first that came to mind.

Despite the mixed reviews I still really want to get that game. Can you tell me what you thought was so bad about AP? it was actually a decent game, just a disappointment for me because i was hyped about it since it was announced. The shooting in the game was just terrible. using anything but an assault rifle was just crazy. The biggest problem was the graphics though. they looked like an upscaled xbox game. The story, pacing, and character interaction was amazing though. Another year of development (as if it wasnt delayed enough) couldve solved those issues. It was still an enjoyable game though, i would recommend it if you can find it for cheap

...Red Alert 3 was depressing to play. the final nail for the C&C franchise, as it went to complete crap.

because RA3 was the game that showed me C&C as a franchise had nothing in it, especially without Westwood. CnC4 would just further that point. there's always a new 'low' of sorts.

Just out of curiosity, did you play the campagin in single player or in Co-Op? I mean fo me the cutscenes made it worth the pittance i payed for it. Was always the best thing about CnC...
I was disappointed by Halo 3s single player, and I'm kind of, semi, sort of disappointed by Red Dead Redemption. I really liked(or well thought I loved) GTA 4 so I assumed RDR would be boss. Kind of got rid of the fascade for me though. The mission structure is just way too repetitive at times, and marston is just way too stiff in movement. The multiplayer is ass. Tried to replay GTA 4 and eh it's like worse than RDR in alot of asepcts, but I can atleast say the MP is more fun. Then again the MP was meh in GTA 4. RDR nor Halo 3 are bad games, but I expected too much.
Nights: Journey of Dreams because the first one on the Saturn was great. The sequel felt rushed and the motion controls were meh. Good thing you could use other control schemes.
