Aside from the lolvgcahartz, is the fact that Lemmings buy more games then Cows something new or surprising? Xbox games DO sell better than PS3 games. There are no ifs or buts there. They just do. Who knows whether its more 360's on the market... more PS3s used just for bluray player, or just than lemmings have less of a life, but its true O.o

There is a disparity in performance between the 360 and PS3 versions of Bioshock 2, less so than Bioshock, but its still there.

I could have sworn that i actually heard reports from IGN or someone big like that, that the PS3 version actually looke more crisp than the 360 version.. Im talking the original Bioshock.. same happened with COD4, a lot of sites actually gave the edge to the PS3 in terms of visuals but yet Lems still claim it looks best on 360, strange indeed.

I think it sold around 300k shortly after launch, but I think sales tapered off after that.

I'd rather go off estimated info until official numbers are released. VGChartz is no different from the NPD as far as I'm concerned. They both make estimates since none of them have full access to all retailer sales. Heck, VGChartz most likely gets a large portion of their numbers from the NPD. To try and rationalize one as being more accurate than another is still silly, since they're both inaccurate given the nature of estimates. So to answer your question: I'd rather use VGChartz's numbers until we're given better.

Who honestly cares I loved the first but this year Bioshock 2 isnt even on my radar for 2010 games.

You need to give it a whirl man. It's a great game. I almost passed it up as well but I thought what the hell. I'm glad I did, I enjoyed it better than the first.

I'm sure the PS3 would share the same fate. Maybe, maybe not.. But i can guarantee right now that if MS came out today and said that Halo and Gears will no longer exist and Sony also came out and Said Resistance and Killzone no longer exist.. I can 100% guarantee you the 360 would die much much quicker than the PS3.. hell i dont even think the PS3 would even die period if it lost its 2 big shooters because the PS3 is known for being a great gaming console with so many different genres while the 360 is known for having good shooters. Lets put it this way.. if the 360 was a meal, you would have games like Halo 3 and Gears being the steak, while there other games like Alan Wake and Forza being the french fries.. while with the PS3 almost all their exclusives are treated equally.

M$ announced that Forza 3 sold 2 million units.. Lion Head Studios announced that Fable 2 sold 2.5 million units... Btw, why limit/add the exclusive variable.. You originally said 360/one trick pony/shooter fans. You mentioned nothing about exclusives.. Most 360 3rd party games sell better than their PS2 counterparts and you know it.. That's why you added the exclusive variable.

I dont drop $60 on alot of games these days... but BS2 is worth it. :)

You mean to tell me that if hypothetical MS came out tommorrow and said they will no longer have any new Halo or Gears of war games come on their console that the 360 would still be fine as if nothing happened? Lets face it, Sony is well known for treating all their developers mcuh better and giving them the time and resources to make the game good.. No matter if its a huge blockbuster like GOW3 or a newcomer innovative title like The Last Guardian.. unlike MS who shuts down a lot of their 1st party studios.

Uh no. One physical tracks and uses algorithms to properly estimate the remainder. VGchartz makes up numbers. They are not the same at all.
