Aside from the lolvgcahartz, is the fact that Lemmings buy more games then Cows something new or surprising? Xbox games DO sell better than PS3 games. There are no ifs or buts there. They just do. Who knows whether its more 360's on the market... more PS3s used just for bluray player, or just than lemmings have less of a life, but its true O.o
VGChartz.... I wouldn't be surprised if it was true anyway, Bioshock 1 performed horrendously on the PS3.KittenWishesthats generally whats happens when you wait over a year to port something.
Yea and so.. im willing to bet that GOW3 will outsell Forza 3, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 combined when its all said and done.www.vgchartz.com wow

I guess you haven't played it then. They brought the graphics patch which made it exactly like the 360 and ahem exclusive DLC anyone? :)
I think they meant horrendously in terms of sales.
Let's work out why this is:
1. Undecided console buyer debates between PS3 and 360
2. Said buyer wishes to purchase Bioshock
3. Buyer buys 360 and Bioshock
4. Buyer buys Bioshock 2 on 360 because
a. He only owns 1 console, or
b. He wants to have them both on the same console
That sounds right actually. The series has a bigger fanbase on the 360 for obvious reasons.Floppy_Jimyea.. that obvious reason that the 360 is a one trick pony and only appeals to the shooter fans.. your absolutly right there

It's because it was on the 360 for a year before the PS3.

Or the fact that it launched on the 360 a year earlier.

It's because it was on the 360 for a year before the PS3. Come on, there is no denying that the 360 is a one trick pony and only great games are shooters.. Look i like my 360 and have fun with it and i think xbox live is great.. But the console is a one trick pony, ofcourse it has other good games outside of shooters but it specializes in shooters.. In other words, the PS3 has such a wide variety of genres and fans of different tastes that it could survive without any shooters.. If the 360 lost its shooters, it would die and instant death and fans would no longer support the console
[QUOTE="ihazfishsticks"]I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. I realize people LOL at vgchartz, but until we get something better. . .it's all we have. ActicEdge
You would rather go off of false info than no info? Well whatever floats you boat.
I'd rather go off estimated info until official numbers are released. VGChartz is no different from the NPD as far as I'm concerned. They both make estimates since none of them have full access to all retailer sales. Heck, VGChartz most likely gets a large portion of their numbers from the NPD. To try and rationalize one as being more accurate than another is still silly, since they're both inaccurate given the nature of estimates. So to answer your question: I'd rather use VGChartz's numbers until we're given better.[QUOTE="Kennysolidsnake"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]That sounds right actually. If the 360 lost its shooters, it would die and instant death and fans would no longer support the consoleKennysolidsnakeI'm sure the PS3 would share the same fate.
You need to give it a whirl man. It's a great game. I almost passed it up as well but I thought what the hell. I'm glad I did, I enjoyed it better than the first.Who honestly cares I loved the first but this year Bioshock 2 isnt even on my radar for 2010 games.

I know right? It's ok for lems to use VGCharts but not cows?!
and its okay for cows to use it but not lemmings? dont act like cows never use vgchartz please.[QUOTE="Kennysolidsnake"] If the 360 lost its shooters, it would die and instant death and fans would no longer support the consoleTommyV3456I'm sure the PS3 would share the same fate. Maybe, maybe not.. But i can guarantee right now that if MS came out today and said that Halo and Gears will no longer exist and Sony also came out and Said Resistance and Killzone no longer exist.. I can 100% guarantee you the 360 would die much much quicker than the PS3.. hell i dont even think the PS3 would even die period if it lost its 2 big shooters because the PS3 is known for being a great gaming console with so many different genres while the 360 is known for having good shooters. Lets put it this way.. if the 360 was a meal, you would have games like Halo 3 and Gears being the steak, while there other games like Alan Wake and Forza being the french fries.. while with the PS3 almost all their exclusives are treated equally.

I will give this game a go but not at this congested game time. They are not the same at all.
