I think its because the character playing as a big daddy? Thats what turned me off a little :(

It's better than being a regular guy again. Instead of 2 or 3 enemies at a time they can swarm you.[QUOTE="SwagSurf"][QUOTE="Revan_911"]I really liked the first, but i don't have any desire to play the second. I don't know why...SparkyProtocol

I think it is because the first one's ending gave closure.Really? I thought it was amazing. Would you kindly explain what was wrong with it?
Getting it Tuesday,I think I will do the same thing I did with Mass Effect 2 and get Bioshock 1 again just to have both in my collection.

He means that the games ending made it so you felt fine with it not having a sequel, so having a sequel kind of cheapens the ending some.

I think he just means that he was fine with that being it, no sequel, prequel, spinoff etc. like he was happy with Bioshock as a single title maybe. ?
I'll pick mine up on Tuesday and use my pre-order payment for WKC toward Bioshock 2. I'm not paying $60 for WKC, that's for sure.

I think it is because the first one's ending gave closure.Yeah, it was one of the very few recent games that actually had an ending instead of leaving it open for a sequel so the company can make more money.
Combat looks better thanks to the drill, dual wielding weapons and plasmids, and better upgrades for plasmids. Now if only they will give us ps3 owners the opportunity to change controls bc R2/L2 to fire=fail. The ds3 is set up differently than 360 controller. R1/L1 should be used

It's not a prequel. Only the MP takes places before Bio1 and 2, BROSKIES!!!!!! :| This game is a sequal. It takes place 10 years after the first.[QUOTE="sensfanVone"][QUOTE="GreenGoblin2099"]

It's a sequel because it takes place after Bioshock 1 but has aspects of a prequel like the first big daddy and first lil sis comboNow if only they will give us ps3 owners the opportunity to change controls bc R2/L2 to fire=fail. jyoung312This is already confirmed. You can change the controls to either R2 = shoot L2 = Plasmids or R1 = shoot L1 = plasmids.
Playstation: The Official Magazine (US) "If you're still wondering if BioShock 2 is better than the original as you enter the final level, by the time you beat it, you'll have no doubt. This is one of the best games you'll ever play."[Mar 2010, p.62] 8OCleanNJerk
I think they enjoyed the game. I keep reading that review over and over lol.
Quiet you! I'm trying to convince myself Bioshock 2 will suck so I don't spend all my money on games! Bad Company 2 is going to suck too. FFXIII as well. *Puts fingers in ears shouting "LA LA LA LA" whilst clutching wallet*
I just watched the intro to the game on youtube. Made me so hyped up for it. I wanted no spoilers. But then, while browsing a forum, my eye caught a picture... a thumbnail of ( I believe ) the end of the game. I cried on the inside after my mind put together the pieces against my will.
Only two more days to go... I can't wait to walk around Rapture knowing there isn't much out there that can possibly stand up to me. I really hope you can glide across the floor and pierce people with your drill though. So far, I haven't seen any video that confirms that just yet. That was one of Big Daddy's best attacks in the first Bioshock. The controller totally jumped out of my hand the first time he did it--I was a little scared to continue fighting it initially. = )

Are you serious?? Man that is so lame. Was it the 2k forums?
You can definitely drill the hell out of splicers. Not sure if you can actually impale them or anything though. We'll just have to see...Only two more days to go...
