BioShock- - Don't waste your money (56k no)

Just letting you guys know that you should rent BioShock before you buy, with no multiplayer the game isn't really worth 60 bucks.

Also, when I played the demo I got a feeling like I have done all that stuff before, and I have. If anyone has played Might and Magic Dark Messiah they would no what I'm talking about, Bioshock is basically the same game.

See what im saying, this game is nothing new. BTW this has nothing to do with graphics, bioshock looks great. I'm just saying this is really just another fps and I suggest renting it first.

If you were setting out to make such a broad statement, why narrow it down to Bioshock and M&M? Why should anyone buy ANY new game since its just based on ideas from games before it?

Because the games AREN'T ANYTHING alike, you just picked a couple shots with the same basic color schemes, it doesn't make any sense.

Dark Messiah was bad, its story was poor... just hobbled together as a poor segawa yo the game's bread and butter (wizardry type Elder SCrolls combat)and it plays NOTHING alike. It's more like Oblivion, with sword and staff combat, and magic casting, etc. You fight Zombies, ghouls, etc.

BioShock is a moody stroy driven FPS in the same vein as System Shock 2 set 5 decades ago using bio modifaction plasmids and various guns.... st underneath the sea, fighting its geneticallymutated inhabitants.

You're right. I'll get rid of my copy of Oblivion, Gothic II, Morrowind, Dead Rising, my FF games, Dragon Quest VIIIand Viva Pinata aswell. They havelittle to noonline aswell, ergo they obviously weren't worth a purchase.

Multiplayer is only added value if it's good.

The Darkness has multiplayer. it sucks. and so the single player is still the only thing you should get the game for.

Prey, same thing. has MP but is not worth it. Call of Juarez, same.

If a game is good enough it does not need a multiplayer mode. It just needs to be a good game.

So in other words..

Don't get anymore games besides LittleBigPlanet (to my knowledge) since its thefirst ofits kind.
