BioShock HYPE TIME!!! (9.5 ATM)

I feel that this game has a spectacular chance of getting a 10.

However that is just that, a chance. Its entirely possibly that Gamespot in all its infinate wisdom, will pull a wild card and rank it anywhere from 8.5-9.5 most likely.

But for the sake of I told ya so's, I'm hyping a 9.5.

We are not sheep that proclaim GOTY years before Zelda is released. Although Halo 3 will likely get nominated, it isn't a new IP. Mass Effect or Bioshock have a better chance.

with the new scoring system, Bioshock seems to be higher quality than a barely AAA at 9.0, I say 9.5 is a reasonable guess. Danthegamingman

What we should be staring long and hard at is the 95% PC gamer review.

PC gamer, historically speaking, does not just throw out 90+ scores. In fact, they are quite rare.

Why you believe that the PC gamer review should not get us hyped is beyond me.

It scored 2% lower than Half-Life and 3% lower than the highest score PC gamer has ever given (HL2 98%). Just consider that...

I'm just pointing out that when a well respected and high-score conservative gaming publication gives out a high AAA score, it really is time to get hyped.

There is room for optimism on GS.

casey u really need to realize people dont care as much as u do...if people think its gods gift to gaming its caus it lookz awesome...i dont care what GS gives it they are known to underrate games anyway...the PC gamer UK review is all i needed to remind me how awesome this game will be.

U sir need to know that not everyone hangs on these GS reviews to buy games...its one damn guy reviewing it...honestly with a game thats already known to be good who cares what jeff or whoever thinks?
