Bioshock now going to PS3?

First Bioshock was going to PS3.  Then it was stated a 360 exclusive.  Now it looks like it will be going back to the PS3.  According to the upcoming OPM Bioshock will be coming to the PS3 along with the Xbox.  Click the link below for mag scan screans.

I've always expected it would be a timed exclusive, with the PS3 release date depending on the size of the install base. We'll see if they eventually choose to release it soon enough...A2D

No multiplayer = no purchase.  Probably a good rental, but not worth my $60.  If it IS coming to the PS3, good for you guys.  It still doesn't make this game any better or worse if it comes out for both systems.REVENGEotSITH

Good point.  Oblivion's 50-plus hours of gameplay almost mandated a purchase.  I rented Oblivion at first, and maybe got through the first few sidequests, made it through the Arena, and started the main quest.  I was looking at 3 or 4 more rentals.  At that point, I might as well purchase the game instead of dropping $40 on rentals.

If Bioshock has on the order of 20-plus hours of gameplay, then MAYBE it would warrant a purchase.  If it can be completed in 10 hours, or so, then why purchase it when you can rent it and complete it in the rental period?

The amount of moaning about this game having no multiplayer is stupid, this game is not a straightforward FPS, if you have played the System Shock games before you would know this.

OK, but with a hundred of games out there, there needs to be some delineator for me when I am making a purchase of a game.  A game needs to have a LOT of replayability, and in most games, multiplayer is where I get the most replay out of a game.  If it is 10 hours of gameplay, but no multiplayer, then (by my rules) its a rental, regardless of how great the game is.  Chronicles of Riddick was one such example.

Well, that's where we differ.  I prefer playing multiplayer with my buds over single player by myself.  I've put in 200 hours in Gears of War Execution matches.  Single player, probably 15 hours total.

Fact remains though, Bioshock has always been multiplatform. It's on both PC and Xbox 360, therefore, calling it exclusive to either platform would violate the very definition of "exclusive".
