Bioshock on PS3 looks better, plays harder. Confirmed!

Bioshock's 360 version lost exclusivity to the PC just like 99.9% of the 360's library.

The devs made the game, they say otherwise and I have seen buffer grabs of xbox360 and PC version and played the PC demo. Just accept facts and vaseline filter =! better looking.

If IGN told you to throw your PS3 off a bridge would you do it? You seem to be talking their comments a little too seriously. From those screenshots, i can say it actually looks worse, but i have no doubt when released it will match if not be slightly better looking than the 360 version, unless the devs are lazy or something. Nothing to brag about though, the game is a year late.

Its obvious that its going to look a little better like that site said.

Its been a year since it first released, it it did not have any improvements how would that look for the devs?

Anyway i might get this game. I tried it on my 360 once (friend brought it round) and it was quite good, but I might not get it as there are other games I want more at the moment.

I dont see why the 360 owners are getting angry about this though. By the sounds of it they are only minor improvements, its still the same story, and the same game, and you got to play it first, which is always better than some visual tweaks imo.

Hermits get flak for posting about superior ports of console games they get a few months after release.

The TC however feels its appropriate to get excited about PS3 Bioshock however. Even though it's not going to be better than the PC version.

I dont think this game is anything for the cows to bump their chest and boast about. It's a nice addition to the PS3's library... but it's a nice addition the 360 got a year ago.

I wonder if my kids would play this. I already have it for PC, but I am the only one allowed on my PC. I also wonder what the controls would be like. If like Resistance controls, then I would be willing to play it. I have yet to finish the PC version though. That will happen when you buy 10 games at once.

EDIT: I am also loving all the damage control from the fanboys. It is really funny to read their desperate responses.

From what i can see, lemmings dont go out to bash it. Cows on the other hand make countless topics about it coming to their platform bragging about how it has prettier graphics. And if a cow makes a topic to brag about slightly prettier graphics, then of course you can expect people to bring up the "extra year of dev time" argument. I personally find it funny. Cows brag about getting this game, yet it will still be inferior to the PC version and they've had to wait a whole year to get it.

ok i see that. i madea topic not very long ago about the game having improved visuals but i noted that i was not bashing any other version i was simply stating that for a dev team of this caliber its expected fot the game to have some kind of upgrade.

but anyway ye like i said doesnt bother me if pc is superior or not i will be getting the ps3 version for the extra difficulty and new challenge modes

Well if the 360 gets MGS4 next year that will be huge, the cows would lose a AAAAE game (becoming just a "sucky" AAAA game in the eyes of System Wars) sure the cows had played it for a year, but they also probably will brag about it owning the 360 line up for a year too. BioShock was never exclusive.

I'm not sure why it's surprising that Bioshock would look better, they've had a year to add spit and polish to a complete game, like Oblivion before it, that WILL have an effect.CronoSquall

While I can understand a solely PS3 owners joy at hearing the news,

My response is generally just "meh"

Had the PS3 port added a multiplayer, heck even an offline multiplayer then of course I would jump at buying the game again but the reality is that if all I am getting is a pretty game more then a year after I beat it for the first time it just don't justify its pricetag.
