They both have different atmosphere, don't they?
One's all post-apocalyptic and the other is post apocalyptic under water

I have no idea
Both are horrible pics, but from playing and completing both,
best atmosphere - Stalker
best environments - Bioshock
I personally like Stalker's dark theme.
But atmospherewise, Condemned is King.

Only the greatest :D.
God do I love that game!

Condemned has got to be one of the slowest paced games ever, your guy walks as fast as a snail, and can only sprint for about 10 seconds.[QUOTE="Lonelynight"][QUOTE="FrozenLiquid"][QUOTE="usmcjdk6"]I personally like Stalker's dark theme.

I found that one thing Bioshock did exceptionally well was instill a dank, dark, mysterious atmosphere that kept me on my toes the entire game. Not to say S.T.A.L.K.E.R didn't also deliver on it's own atmospheric vibe, just not to the same level as Bioshock IMO.
However.... stalker did give me an inventory screen, which was greatly appreciated.

I can't even play Condemned. I'm not the type of guy that likes getting the crap scared ouuta me every 10 seconds. Waaaaaay to messy. :P
STALKER all the way.
The atmosphere just feels so............atmospheric :)
ShotGunBunny
And it looks realistic too :) (at least thats what I heard from people who live near there)
give me a console port of STALKER, and then I'll get back to you. Mordred19
Sorry I don't know how to port a game

wow stalker is winning
It's a damn shame that they toke so long with Stalker and delivered such a crappy finished version. It was such a great premise :(Jelle87
Most of the bugs are fixed now
how is STALKER's music? haunting, I hope. orchestral maybe? big budget sound?Mordred19
Non-existant almost lol.

That STALKER pic looks waaay too grainy for my liking.123Dan123

great game but is very repetitive
Haven't played S.T.A.L.K.E.R but the Medical Pavillion in Bioshock is creepy as hell.heretrix
Probably one of the best areas. The creepiest spot would been under in the water area (FortFrolic)with the moving statues. They would move and appear are path by collums.
As immersive as Bioshock is, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is just ridiculous. I actually felt weird walking around Chernobyl. I can't really explain it, but the atmosphere was so damn palpable. It was frighteningly realistic for all its strangeness, and you never, ever, ever felt safe.
If the environment didn't kill you, the bandits with their awesome and tough AI would. Seriously, after I stopped a session of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., I had to shake off the weird vibes that game gave me. Truly excellent stuff.

It gives me the same feeling too

Indeed but it is the lack of it that makes it great.Standing on open fields at night and hearing noises in the darkness, and other sounds of the zone is fantastic.
Its one of the few games that has really creeped me out just with audio.
